Definitely summer, but fall is a close second! I haven’t been excited about holiday collections in a while, due to the inconsistent value and quality of the releases. I also find it too overwhelming with not enough unique releases. I’m not into the pastels of spring. I love summer, though. I can’t get enough bright pops of color, bronze, tan, nuetrals, pinks, corals, oranges, and anything shimmery.

I love fall collections. The colours are always just so perfect. Warm orangey browns and reddish tones with any excuse to rock a dark lip!!

Winter is my season because as I’m a bit poor I have got into the habit of buying most of my products (on sale gift sets a lot of the time) for the next year when the black Friday/Christmas/ January sales come round, and then spending the next 11 months making a list of things I’m going to hunt down cut price in the sales next time round.

Only obvious problem here is that if you have something like a year’s worth of mascara you have to be very restrained and open them by sell by date, and not give in to the temptation of opening any more to see what they are like.

It was a difficult decision because I love the holiday collections – lots of great deals. But I really love the darker, more vibrant colours of autumn.

Holidays for sure– that’s when brands pull out all the stops on bold colors, luxury packaging, value sets, promos/sales. Next up is fall, for the autumn colors. Summer collections tend to run too warm and orangey for me, and spring ones usually way too sheer, although they are a nice breath of fresh air after the holiday excesses

Fall, definitely. Usually the best colors for me are featured, but the holiday stuff interests me for the values mainly. Spring and summer collections usually look pretty enough to suck me in to buying some, but I get little use out of them, as they aren’t my norm go-to.

Fall has always been my favourite time of year – I love the clothes, the cooler (but not yet freezing) weather and I love the fall makeup collections. I do really get excited about the value sets and palettes that come out during the holidays but in all honesty, purely from an aesthetic point of view, the stuff that is released in Autumn is usually what really appeals to me!

Fall, definitely. It might be partially because that’s my favorite season, but it’d mostly be because the Autumn colors suit me in general (coloring-wise), and they trend darker, more intense (which suits me spirit-wise). Spring’s too washed out, and Summer’s too “happy.” (I’m not Goth, I swear.)
