What beauty product do you buy over and over again?

Wednesday, February 24th, 2010

What beauty product do you buy over and over again? That one product that’s so good that you never stray…

.

I’m like a commitment-phobe when it comes to makeup these days! I don’t think there’s anything I’ve repurchased more than twice before straying. I think I stayed devoted to MAC Studio Fix Fluid the longest… like three years!

Urban Decay Primer Potion L’Oreal Waterproof Voluminous Mascara Lush Ocean Salt Avon eye makeup remover Korres lip butter

Neutrogena anti-residue shampoo and deep conditioning treatment. Awesome stuff and cheap!

I tend to re-purchase mascaras, because I usually struggle to find one that I really like. I have repurchased Lancome Hypnose mascara at least 3 times, and I'm on my fourth tube of Covergirl Lash Blast. Love the stuff!!

Revlon Colorstay, in caramel.

- chapstick - clinique 3 step skin care - mac angel, cherish, creme cup and faux lipsticks - mac cultured lipglass - mac studio finish concealer - mac studio fix powder foundation

- Clinique's 3 Step Skin Care - MAC's Angel, Cherish, Creme Cup, and Faux lipsticks - MAC's Engraved eyeliner - MAC's Studio Finish concealer - Chapstick

Ahhh great question! Hmmm well I've only bought one beauty product twice because I loved it and it is Rimmel lipstick in AiryFairy. Probably because its the only thing I've ever run out of so quickly! lol

I absolutely cannot live without Aveda Green Science Lifitng Serum, I've used it since it debuted a few years ago and will never go without it.

Max Factor False Lash Effect Waterproof Mascara Seche Vite The Body Shop Olive Body Butter Dickinson's Witch Hazel Toner Emu oil

Covergirl Lashblast and L'oreal Telescopic mascaras, great combo! And MAC Blacktrack Fluidline! :)

MAC Wonderstruck Lustreglass MAC Brulee Eyeshadow MAC Quarry Eyeshadow Bare Escentuals Foundation Bare Escentuals Mineral Veil MAC Half-Red Lip Pencil UDPP & Too Faced Eyeshadow Insurance And Chapstick My favorite items that I buy over and over and over again:)

I repurchase MAC MSF Natural and UDPP. They are 2 of my staples.

UDPP, Cetaphil face wash, Maybelline Full 'n' Soft Mascara, MAC Satin Taupe and Trax e/s, Benefit lipstick in Candy Store(<3 3rd tube), and UD 24/7 pencils.

I keep rebuying Bobbi Brown corrector concealer in Bisque. It makes your under eye circles disappear and last for a long time. I love it. I also keep buying Dolce Vita lipstick by Nars and Naked lipstick by UD.

I actually have several! MAC Vex Eyeshadow MAC Gel lipstick TIGI Hard Head hairspray TIGI shampoos and conditioners Lash Blast mascara Mary Kay moisturizers and cleansers (using for almost 20 years!) I used to buy the Loreal Shocking mascara but sadly it's gone!

I have buy over and over again lipbalm and lotions from L'occitane; also moisturizer from Clinique and L'occitane... those I guess I preffer!!!

I buy Clinique´s Dramatically Different Moisturizing Gel over and over again. I´ve also repurchased Estee Lauder´s Magnascopic Mascara several times. Other favorites are MAC´s Studio Finish Concealer and Peachykeen Blush.

The Clinique DDMG, how would you rate it? I'm in need of a new moisturizer and I've read some pretty good reviews. My skin is usually normal to oily on my t-zone (mostly due to dehydration, and if I use anything that soaks in too quickly or not at all, it gets greasy) and normal to dry on my cheeks - do you think this might work well for my skin? I took their test and was classified as having type 2 skin. I've been trying a lot of moisturizers lately, and the only one that hasn't irritated me was one from Dove, but it leaves me somewhat oily :( And LRP Hydraphase Legere works nicely, but it might be irritating me from the fragrance. GUH skin care be damned!

It must be MAC´s MSF natural in medium and UDPP.

UDPP (or TFSI) Maybelline Colossal Mascara Bare Minerals foundation MAC blacktrack fluidline

Urban Decay Eyeshadow in Maui Wowie and MUFE Mat Velvet Foundation are the things I buy over and over!

MAC lipliner in Stripdown, Blushbaby Blush, and Florabundance lipgloss -- great neutrals and that I repurchased over the years.

studio fix powder on my 3 third though i still have some of the 2nd one udpp because my first one dried up

I hardly ever run out of make-up, but I always would like to have. MAC lipglass in Russian Red. MAC juxt eyeshadow. MAC brush cleanser (its not really make up but i buy it ALOT) UD 24/7 in Zero. Diorshow mascara. Clinique lipstick in A different grape. I recently changed my cleanser and moisturizer to philosophy and I have a feeling I'll repurchase it.

what exactly do you all use max fix plus for besides eyeshadow?

Clinique All About Eyes and Lancome's Bi-Facil Eye Makeup Remover.

My repeat performers are Clinique all about eyes, 3 step skin care and MAC studio fix powder compact.

Lancome Bi-Facil - does that count? On my 2nd tube of DiorShow Iconic Mascara.

1) UDPP 2) Cover Girl Lash Blsat 3) Mac SFF Thanks to Mac for being so concentrated I've never hit pan yet on any of my shadows.

I've bought Revlon's Colorstay Liquid Liner for the last 4 years. I can't get enough of this stuff- it's cheap, stays on, and its super easy to apply. I've tried other liquid liners but nothing compares to Revlon's price and ease of use.

Skin care is kind of a no-brainer. There are also a few eyeshadows i can't do without (MAC's Silver Ring is at the top of the list) and Face & Body foundation.

Lush & Vichy skincare Max Factor false lash effect mascara Herome nail whitener Bourjois metallic eye pencil in violet miroitant MAC lipglass

As much as I love my Mac eyeshadows, the one I continue to repurchase is the Bonnebell quad in cafe classics. Beautiful colours, I love them and use them everyday. I've repurchased at least five times. And Mac Mineralized Skinfinish Natural.

BeneFit's Brow Zings in Dark, and Lancome's Teint Idole. My favorite lipsticks and eyeshadows are always being discontinued, and I've had to get replacements for Lancome's Matte Neutrale lipstick on eBay.

For skincare, the only product that I've consistently purchased since 2008 is my LUSH Herbalism. I do find though that it's a little drying right now, so I might be looking for a new cleanser for day use. With makeup, UDPP. It's the only base I use. I've been using it since 2008, and I think I've only purchased it twice? Had I been wearing makeup daily this past year, I'd have repurchased it for a 3rd time. Lasts so long. I always purchase Philosophy tube glosses, but I've yet to actually finish a gloss.. Does that count? Can't think of anything else that I constantly repurchase, mostly because my makeup usually lasts for a few years before I run out.

t.Leclerc... foundation for me!

Clean & Clear oil blotting sheets...since it debuted.

Urban Decay Primer Potion L'Oreal Waterproof Voluminous Mascara

So far it's only been skincare (Lush Angels on Bare Skin for morning, Philosophy Purity Made Simple foaming for evening, and Philosophy Hope in a Jar). When I hit pan on my Femme-fi eyeshadow I had my mom pick up a backup for me at the CCO near her house and she decided to grab three, and I can't see myself NOT using that color for years and years, so that was great! Other than that...well, I'll probably repurchase Korres Tinted Moisturizer when I run out!

MAC Studio fix powder NC35 MAC lipglass in Prrr MAC paint pot in bare study MAC eyeshadow in Mulch MAC Blush in Mocca I love MAC as you can see LOL

Well, since I was 16 I never really changed from studio fix fluid and powder, mac mocha blush, and mac x mascara. I use to be completely devoted to my favorite MLBB shade from Victoria's Secret until it was discontinued! *cries* Now I have repurchased Viva Glam V.

MAC studio tech and I can tell its going to be viva glam gaga. Obsessed with both of these

most products, I don't use enough to repurchase. I've bought Diorshow mascara twice. I've bought MAC Sweetie lipstick twice. I've bought wet N wild megaplump lipgloss twice. That's about as much regularity as I have....

MAC Studio Fix foundation - every time I try something else I'm disappointed. Seche Vite top coat.

Moisturizers for sure (Embryolisse) , MAC fluidline dipdown and blacktrack! I cannot live without those and UDPP! :) Some things I've strayed from but those I always come back to time and time again!

Perscriptives Virtual Skin works great for me and I've gone through a gazillion tubes of Max Factor 2000 Calorie Mascara in Auburn. (notice how stuff I like keeps getting discontinued? :( ) And I use Rich Ground Fluidline almost every single day and am on my third pot.

Ugh, I have the SAME problem with some of my favorite products! What's with that?! Same goes for food too. BRING BACK THE GUACAMOLE DORITOS DANGIT! LOL.

I feel the same way about things I like! Like many makeup junkies, I am on a never-ending quest for a "better-than-I-already-own" foundation. I loved Prescriptives Mineral foundation (the liquid one), and then poof, they went out of business. :( Same thing happens with MAC products I like.

MAC wipes, Urban Decay Primer Potion, MAC eyeliner in Teddy, and my La Roche Posay Effaclar H skincare line (foaming cleanser & moisturizer)

Urban Decay Primer Potion, L'Oreal Telescopic Carbon Black mascara, Chanel Glossimmer in Astral, Lancome Teint Idole Ultra Foundation in Ivoire 1, MAC Blush in Trace Gold, Clarins Instant Light Lip Perfector in #2 apricot shimmer, Clarins Light Brown eyebrow pencil, Clarins yellow toner, Clarins UV Plus sunscreen
