  2. Maeve

  4. Suri

Got this today in the turq and concrete.and( so far concrete wins) and OPI black crackle (its awesome)My daughter and I have been playing with different base colors.Faves are black over chartreuse, black over silver, and concrete over fuschia.

the thinner layer definitely looks the best with the crackle effect

not a fan of colored crackle, but i’m DYING to get black! i LOVE how black looks over glittery polishes.

  8. Natalia

It does look pretty cool! Nice colour combination, too.

  9. I love crackle polish. Seems like Black shatter crackles faster :)

The Crackled look is not really for me, but that was soooo COOL!!! Thanks for the video, Christine, you are the best. Love it!

  11. Wouldn’t it be fun if it made that CRACKLING sound…lol!!
It was fun to see this. I would love to buy one…:)

Does Seche Vite’s warning lable bother you? The one about possible birth defects because of the Toluene in it??

  13. Love the video but next time make sure nails are dried before you start the video. It took almost 6 minutes into the video to watch a polish crackle.

    • I used the video to also explain my nail care and speak on the collection itself. You could have always just fast forwarded if that’s all you were interested in — especially since I even mentioned it in the post – to skip forward a few minutes if that’s ALL you wanted to see :)

I didn’t get the impression Christine was talking because she was waiting for her nails to dry, she was talking because she wanted to introduce the collection and also give some instructions, which some readers (like me) really apreciate. I think this kind of comment sounds very ungrateful for somebody who just spent a bit of their time to make a nice, descriptive video for you to watch, so you can then bitch that it took 6 minutes just to watch a polish crackle. Perhaps you would prefer a 30 second video taken with a shaky cell phone?

The look of this polish makes my teeth itch. UGH!

I’d buy one if they made a brown one in hopes it would look like wood.

  16. WithIt

    Cool effect! Thanks, Christine!
BTW, I always want to ask you, what song/musical piece do you use at the end of your videos. It’s so cool!
    Thanks!
    :)

i hear youre only supposed to use one coat (down the centre then each side) otherwise it doesnt crackle as effectivley.
