Urban Decay S&M Eyeshadow

Permanent Play:  Urban Decay S&M Shadow

Urban Decay S&M Eyeshadow ($17.00 for 0.05 oz.) is smooth, buttery shade of silvered gray with a part frost, part metallic finish. It’s nicely pigmented, and it applies incredibly evenly with little work. It’s the type of shade that works well for a very classic smoky eye. I also like to pair it with navies and bright blues for something a little unexpected.  S&M is part of Urban Decay’s permanent line-up of eyeshadows, so it’s available year-round as a single shadow.  (If you’re not much of a pot person, Urban Decay shadows are as easily depotted as MAC and will fit into MAC palettes as well.)

Beautiful shades, both of them. I hope you will enterain us with a pretty look using these soon!
and maybe one day use Laprairie Rosebronze in one of your looks. :)
You have not used it before with me missing it, did you?

  2. Charlotte says:

Can you recommend a good gunmetal shade like this that doesn’t lean too blue?

  3. Iliana says:

Those 2 shadows are really pretty. I really wish UD was available here. I’m not a big fan of online shopping!

  4. Sexy Sadie says:

    Love it.

  5. Marina says:

I love this shadow…it’s one of my favorites. I like how I can actually wear it and not have it accentuate my dark circles! Only thing is, it seems to crease more than any UD shadow I own!

  6. bluematilda says:

i’ve just recently started getting into UD’s eyeshadows (hello naked palette!) and i’ve heard a rumor that they are releasing a “black palette” with blackened shadows, blackened green, purple etc-it has 6 shades-have you heard if this is true, and if it will be released in the states? ps thanks for all the feline and villain stuff!

    • Christine says:

I don’t have any information on it myself, but I did send over an inquiry earlier this week – if I hear anything, I will let you know! :)

      • bluematilda says:

i saw it over on lipglossiping’s site, i also emailed UD but they said they had no info :( check out her site if you want to see it, i guess she posted it in the last week or so-

  7. Really pretty color and great pigmentation.

  8. Amy says:

I have this shade. I was looking for more of a grey, but it comes off silvery-blue on my eyes (I’m NW20 with blue eyes). I’ve paired it with UD Sin and Mac Sketch for a soft pink, blue, and purple look that looked pretty with light eyes.

  9. LU says:

I love it! I’m a huge fan of smoky grays!

  10. Brynn says:

This is the black palette… seems like a “leave it” item to me..

  11. knownever says:

I’m always a fan of UD eyeshadows that dont have glitter. kudos to them for resisting the glitter urge!

  12. AnGeLwInGz says:

S&M is a fun color. I always have trouble deciding whether to wear that one or Strip.

  13. Ashley D. says:

To me this is just an eyeshadow you can skip since so many brands make really similar/same colour of this shade.

  14. inaya says:

hey chrisitne! what would u recommend as the best cheek glowy highlighter for an nc32? mary lou or mac candlelight (or sth else alltogether)

  15. Lora says:

Might have to try that since gunmetal is a shade too dark for me. :D

  16. Emmanuelle says:

Hey Christine! I was wondering if you knew a duplicate of S&M in the Mac eyeshadows?
