Urban Decay Naked3 Eyeshadow Palette
Urban Decay Naked3 Eyeshadow Palette

We’ve spent a LOT of time getting Naked the past few years. We’ve done bronzy and taupey neutrals, but we realized there was a whole spectrum of gorgeous, flushed pinks we hadn’t explored yet. Rose-based hues look great on every skin tone. With 12 new shades, it’s hard to choose favorites, but we predict that Buzz (the pinkest of all the shades) will be a fan favorite. We’re also partial to Nooner (a stunning pinky-brown matte) and Dust (a pale metallic pink shimmer with amazing iridescent glitter), which can be worn on the lids or used as a highlighter. And for an edgy, smoky liner, there’s the aptly named Blackheart—a super dimensional black matte flecked with red glitter.

Our Naked palette revolutionized neutrals forever—and went on to become one of the best-selling palettes EVER. When fans demanded more, Naked2 delivered. Even now, three years after the frenzy first started, the requests for “MORE Naked palettes!” keep coming. Finally, the wait is over. Urban Decay launches Naked3, featuring 12 TOTALLY NEW (and insanely beautiful!) rose-hued neutrals. Our previous Naked palettes have always included new shades, but this is the first time we’ve done a Naked palette with 12 never-before-seen shades that aren’t available anywhere else. Choose from every finish imaginable: ultra-smooth mattes, gorgeous pearls and glimmering metallics. From the palest, shimmery pink to deep, warm black, these neutrals will make you want to get Naked all over again.

Naked3 comes in an art-school-inspired tin case (reminiscent of the Naked2 palette)—in a gorgeous rose-gold color that hints at the shades inside. Embossed on top with a big “Naked3” and cool facets that beg to be touched, this case is sure to inspire lots of jealous stares. Each Eyeshadow features our Pigment Infusion System™, the proprietary blend of ingredients that gives every shade its velvety texture, rich color, serious staying power and blendability.

Naked3 also includes a NEW double-ended Good Karma Shadow and Blending Brush AND an Eyeshadow Primer Potion sampler with resealable samples of all four formulas (original, Sin, Eden and NEW anti-aging). Each sample holds about a week’s worth of primer!

  3. Want. Must have it. There is no option of not getting this. I skipped Naked2, but this is just so, so gorgeous. (Unless the swatches suck, but I doubt they will!)

  4. Neesha

*Sigh* I was hoping it would be similar to the first two Naked palettes. But, no, it’s different and so, so pretty. So I want it. It was a good idea to go with rosy shades instead of browns/beiges/taupes.

  5. Ashley

    I. Can’t. Wait. !!!!!!!!!

  6. Denise

This is one of those products I will stay up late to snatch the second it launches!

  7. I really like this palette!

  8. Nicole

Yay! I’m so glad the new Naked is full of pink shadows. I have the original Naked palette and I’m down to the pan with Toasted and Sin.

  9. Ooh, SO pretty! I’m drooling! ALL new colors! *Sigh*

Back to reality…I think it is wise of UD to go with pinky browns for N3. However, they historically look muddy on my NC20 skin, mattes especially. I still can’t wait to see the swatches, and hope they work for me after all.

Congratulations to Urban Decay on what is sure to be another smashing success!

  10. I really like that they are incorporating more pinky tones into a neutral palette!

I know I should wait for this to be released in Sephora but at the same time I want it ASAP… & the Sephora VIB/VIB Rouge statuses are only until 12/31. Decision, decisions.. :/ lol

  12. These colors are perfect for my skin tone! This is definitely going on my Christmas wish list.

  13. AmyD

URGH that this is being released AFTER the VIB 20% sale!! WAH. :-p

  14. Caroline

I’ll pass. In my experience, pink eyeshadow = looking like a rabbit. Enough said.

  15. Amy

Next palette I think that will be released would probably be a matte bright coloured line like the naked line but matte bright colors

I would love to see urban decays take on the sigma creme de couture palette, matte bright pastels! Either way, more mattes or/and satin finishes l

  16. Cristall

I will definitely be getting this! Thanks for sharing!

  17. Lil

This are rosy colors!! It looks similar to Lorac Unzipped Palette..

Christine, i am surprised that you never reviewed Lorac Unzipped in your blog.. why?

  18. Lori P

I need this so bad! Pinks! *drools*

  19. Caroline

I really like the idea behind this palette, but the Lorac Unzipped palette is also a nude with pink tones!

  20. Just after I thought I’d sworn off Sephora till the New Year…!!

  21. I am so excited to buy and review this palette!!! It looks amazing and I love the packaging. Thanks Temptalia for the great review!

  22. Annie

I’m actually kinda interested about this palette. I’m not much of a “neutral” fan, but I do love rosy pinks and plums.

  23. haha, I knew UD would do this eventually… Give us a little more Naked crack. I love 1, 2 and Basics so I will definitely get this. Can’t wait! Lucky us for it to release early but it will mess up their quarter.

  24. Carm

I know that past Naked palettes have been permanent. Hopefully the same holds true for this one, I literally bought the Naked 2 about a month before the Naked 3 announcement.

  25. Heidi

Later November on UD.com? No specific dates. Whyyyyy are they teaaaasing us.
Probably gonna be like a Black Friday special. I’m assuming it won’t be limited edition like Vice and Vice2?

  26. Mel

I am so tempted to get this! The rational side of me is telling me not to- I have both Naked 1 and 2, and neither of them has hit pan for any shadow. It’s so hard to finish using the shadows, so I doubt I can use Naked 3 much too!

But still, that doesn’t stop me from drooling! Might actually get it on an impulse when it comes out.

  27. Heather jane

It’s so perfect I can’t wait to grab it before Christmas but I feel I need it now I can’t wait! Also on urban decays website there’s a sale on eyebrow kits to complete the look!!

  28. lat

I have the original Naked Palette and the Naked Basics, and I’m so-so about them. But there’s something about this that is getting me excited. I can’t wait to swatch it in person!
