Urban Decay Electric 24/7 Eyeliner Pencil Set

Urban Decay Holiday 2011 Swatches – Midnight Emergency, Nail Kit, Stardust Lipgloss (Sneak Peek)

Full review, photos, and swatches coming soon — please hold all questions until then. Thank you in advance for your patience!

Urban Decay Stardust Sparkling Lipgloss ($19.00) will be available in-stores at ULTA and select Macy’s as well as online at ulta.com, macys.com, beauty.com, and urbandecay.com (no Sephora). I do not believe these are limited edition. This gloss is supposed to be multi-faceted with microscopic, ultra-reflective sparkle for a luminous effect on lips without the glitter grit. It includes vitamin E and jojoba oil. The texture is supposed to be buttery, non-sticky, and have a transparent but scintillating texture with a cushiony formula to give lips a fuller look without the bee-stung feeling. There will be three shades available.

Urban Decay Holiday Nail Kit ($28.00) will only be available at select Macy’s in-store and online at urbandecay.com. It is limited edition and contains six miniature-sized nail polishes.

Midnight Emergency Kit ($39.00) is a limited edition kit that features four eyeshadows, one Lip Junkie Lipgloss, and a small eyeshadow brush. It will be available at ULTA and select Macy’s in-stores as well as online at ulta.com and urbandecay.com.

I do not have specific launch dates at this time but imagine these products should arrive at retailers around October.

wow really loving the stardust lipgloss in midnight cowboy and glitter rock, and the nail kit. the emergency kit is really nice, but is giving me memories of the cowboy junkie palette, which was just so-so in my opinion. thanks for the sneak peak, haven’t been this excited for a lipgloss in a while :)

  2. Celine

oooh the nail kit colours look gorgeous for fall and winter:) xx

  3. I wish the Andromeda lip gloss was more pigmented! It would’ve been a beautiful duochrome

  4. Deb

The nail kit looks fun, but the glitter looks a lot like OPI Sparkle-icious in the bottle! Looking forward to seeing your reviews!!

  5. holly

LOVE the colors in that nailkit!

  6. Angie

I know the kit is only a few dollars less than the bigger palette, I’d rather get the smaller one because I’d use all four colors. I’d only use 2, maybe 3 of the colors in the other one.

  7. Kathy

Man, I would be ALL OVER the Midnight Emergency kit if all that chunky glitter was non-existent. I’m so glad that the Midnight Cowboy shadow pencil exists … I get to enjoy the gorgeous color without all that awful fallout!

Anyway, there’s a lot of really pretty stuff in this collection, but I’m not sure if I’ll get any of it. I’ve been buying less and less makeup over the past year because I need less and less. We’ll see though. I might change my mind soon. Haha.

Thank you for posting these goodies Christine!! I have my eye on the nail polish set, the color selection is spot on for my tastes, and I live the mini sizes – I have too many bottles of nailpolish it seems like I’ve never even made a dent in them before they went out of style. I also love the midnight emergency set. I absolutely adore the neutrals, and the darker color seems intriguing, and looks like it can be played as work appropriate. Kits like these are great to just toss in your bag when your on the go!

  9. Andrea

Christine, I appreciate how you get information out to us as soon as you get it! You are amazing!!

  10. Nicole

Finally AC/DC is being re-released. I fell in love with it when it first appeared, and am so happy to see it come back. It really should be a permanent shade.

    • Andrea

I agree, Nicole. It’s one of my faves too!

    • BethM

I also love AC/DC, it’s one of my all-time favorite shadows. Kinda upset that it’s being released with a bunch of other stuff I’d never wear. I can’t justify spending that much to get the one shadow.:(

  11. Elysia

I love the nailkit! The pallet looks too neautral for me, but i guess that means it good for red holiday lips

  12. Liz

I am so excited the urban decay holiday sets this year

  13. amanda

Wow I’m actually really liking the look of those glosses. Can’t wait to see what they look like on your lips. Thanks for being so dedicated and getting the info out to us on collections so quickly!

  14. bxboricua

Awww I’m sad that AC/DC is being rereleased with those awful, glitter bomb eyeshadows :( I wish they had put it in the Mariposa palette with my other loves: Rockstar and Mushroom!

  15. Megan

Ooo…I feel like I would actually tuck the palette in my purse, which is a hallowed spot usually reserved for lip glosses only. I hate MC with a passion, but Midnight 15 more than makes up for it. And AC/DC is gorgeous.

  16. Rachael

Lovin that nail polish. The rest I’ll probably skip.

  17. When makeup companies start putting out so much makeup to choose from, it distracts me instead of want me to buy more.

  18. Tigress

    AC/DC is a gorgeous color!

  19. Leigh

Is it bad I did a happy dance when I saw these posts this morning? I’m so excited for everything! I’ll definitely end up grabbing that nail kit since I usually adore UD’s polishes. The palette and glosses don’t really do it for me, but they look really nice. I’m really going to have to start saving up!

Can’t wait for more UD swatches! :)

  20. Sam

Omg that nail set looks SO exciting!!!

  21. AnGeLwInGz

How exciting! These all look great!

  22. Melody

The lipglosses and nail kit are beautiful to look at. Can’t wait to find out how they perform.

  23. Ashley

    Lovely! Midnight 15, so pretty!

  24. want to see polish swatches, pleeeease! <3

  25. What is with Midnight Cowboy? Who needs an extra palette of crappy glittery eyeshadows? I like AC/DC, and Midnight 15 is okay, but why oh why does UD keep releasing MC and MCRA (and Midnight Rodeo) in every palette????

  26. Amy

This is my first holiday season as a makeup lover, well more specifically an UD makeup lover. I was introduced to them back in May. I was just wondering what tends to happen with sales on holiday sets like this when they first come out. Do they sell out fast? Do they sell out and get restocked (UD 15th Anniversary Eyeshadow Palette)? Is it super hard to get your hands on these? Any information would be appreciated. Thanks!

I just wanted to mention that I work at Sephora inside JCPenney, and we received the stardust lipgloss and also the shadow pencil sets
