Urban Decay Flushed Super Saturated High Gloss Lip Color
Urban Decay Flushed Super Saturated High Gloss Lip Color

Urban Decay Flushed Super Saturated High Gloss Lip Color ($19.00 for 0.10 oz.) is described as a “creamy mauve-pink.” It’s a medium, slightly muted, pink with a hint of neutral-to-cool tones (the mauve playing with the pink, I expect) and a glossy shine. MAC Flamingo (LE, $16.00) is lighter, warmer. NYX Blush ($P, $4.00) is a bit lighter, less glossy, warmer. Tom Ford Indian Rose (P, $49.00) is darker, cooler-toned. Chanel Liaison (P, $34.00) is warmer, brighter. Urban Decay Fiend (P, $22.00) is darker. Urban Decay Naked (P, $22.00) is lighter. Urban Decay Rush (P, $22.00) is darker. Chanel Rendez-vous (87) (P, $34.00) is cooler-toned. Tarte Pink Peony (P, $16.00) is warmer. See comparison swatches.

This is a new and exclusive shade to Urban Decay’s website. The Super Saturated formula is supposed to be like a “rich and creamy lipstick” with a “high-gloss shine.” It had mostly opaque color coverage, and the color applied fairly evenly overall. The formula was lightly tacky, moderately hydrating, and comfortable to wear for the four and a half hours it lasted.

  1. i love it and your whole look is amazing with it!!!

  2. grlnxdor

    I love everything about it!

  3. Flush is such a nice shade! This is the type of lip color I look for on days when I don’t really feel like thinking about my makeup too much.

  4. I’m not a big fan of pencil lipsticks, I think you waste a lot of product when you sharpen them. I love the green under your eyes!

    • You definitely do. I prefer the twist-up ones like Clinique’s. I know you can put the pencil in the freezer, and then sharpen, so you’ll lose a lot less, but I always forget!

It’s just such a big pain in the butt to have to do that. But that’s just my personal opinion. I usually hesitate to purchase a pencil lipstick that doesn’t twist up. It would have to be an amazing color like UD’s Scandal.

      • I really looove the color of my Nars Dragon Girl, but I don’t know if I’ll buy it again because it’s a pencil. I’ve heard of freezing it, but just like you I never think of it! ;)

  5. Oh, it’s pretty! I only recently got my first lip product in jumbo pencil form but I already know I want more. I’ll have to remember this one.

What’s the name of the teal eyeliner you’re wearing? It’s so pretty!

  9. It’s pretty! It reminds me of MAC Angel a little bit, but more glossy.

  10. What a gorgeous MLBB shade on you :-)

This looks really tempting, actually, I just wish (as other commenters have mentioned) that UD would make it onto the ‘twist up’ level of pencil lipsticks!

  11. How does this compare to the Supersaturated Gloss pencil in Naked? Color and texture-wise?

  12. I really like this color! Not a fan of chubbies you have to sharpen though.

It looks nice on you, but for me it’s just ok. I prefer lipstick in the tube & not these color sticks so I have never bought one from any brand. Never a color that’s so heart pounding to “make” me buy one.

  14. Amanda

This is soooo pretty on you! I do own MAC Flamingo but it’s like bright orange comparatively!!

  15. Heyyyy christine :)

loved the whole look dear … did I missed the liner review ?

m excited for my ud scandal pencil :)

  16. I love this shade. It’s my favorite “your lips but better” shade that I’ve tried

So pretty! And, if you’re wearing Ethereal Glow in this photo, it looks really dreamy and lovely. Not a bold, statement blush for certain, but it really pulls your eye and lip look together without competing. Back to the lip color…it seems like a fresh color that looks lively without being too bright. Right up my alley. Thanks!
