Urban Decay 15th Anniversary Eyeshadow Palette ($55.00 for 15 x 0.05 oz.) includes fifteen brand new, never-before-seen shades in a limited edition palette. These shades are: Midnight Rodeo (brown pearl with silver), Tainted (pale matte purple with golden shimmer), Deeper (deep shimmery golden brown), Midnight 15 (oyster pearl with silver glitter), Junkshow (metallic bright pink with slight blue shift), MIA (dark velvet brown), Vanilla (creamy white gold), Omen (metallic bright purple with blue shift), Ace (dark gunmetal), Flow (soft peach shimmer), Evidence (deep metallic blue), Blackout (darkest, must saturated black), Chase (bright bronze), Deep End (bright teal), and Half Truth (deep greyish purple).
I will have full photos & swatches up ASAP! Wanted to get you some sneak peek stuff right off the bat, because it hits urbandecay.com (along with the rest of their fall products) on July 12th! It will launch at Sephora, Ulta, and select Macy’s both in-store and online, as well as beauty.com (there is no announced launch date for other retailers than urbandecay.com).

The colors are lovely, but I have too many e/s in all these color families to justify buying. Fingers crossed that they issue Blackout as a single as it beats Perversion & Lorac’s black (forgot the name) by a mile. It’s as black as Shu Uemura’s gel eyeliner, which is my fav.
Omen and Half Truth look very pretty!
So I don’t think that EVERY one of these colors are extremely unique… BUT I am pretty sure I need it in my life! These are awesome because you get so much for a fair price. It seems to be a great mix of all colors and very pretty! I LOVE UD palettes for travel too! So excited!
I think I’ll skip this and just hunt for a good dupe of Evidence. So pretty!

i have never has a book of shadows palette! This will be my first! most of the colors are so wearable! I really hope it doesn’t sell out fast:(
A lot of these shades look like the ones UD already have in their permanent range. Hopefully, UD hasn’t gotten lazy and these are amazing when actually swatched.
Junkshow is the only must-have for me. I hope they sell it separately one day.
Flow, Evidence and Blackout as a blue smokey eye on dark skin. There, I’ve said it. Saw those swatched together and started drooling.

Absolutely falling in love with urbandecay I honestly believe urban decay makes the best eyeshadows in the market I think they even beat Mac!!

Seeing as how I only have the Naked palette and 3 single UD eyeshadows, it is totally warranted for me to decide this is a must have. Which I have. Decided. I don’t know how I am going to balance all the different bits and bobs of makeup I want this summer, it is painful. MAC collections, UD palette, Chanel blush…I may need a second job. And I’m not exactly poor after my first job!

is urban decay HQ in the west coast? maybe it will launch when it is 12 pacific because it is 12 eastern here and still no show
We never know when they exactly launch because sometimes, they launch it at midnight which was what happened with the AIW BOS & their BOS III launched at 10AM PST, which is 1PM EST. You just probably have to keep checking it hourly..

this is the first time i love every color on a palette!
I am really enjoying the matt black. It looks so crisp and i’m tired of shimmery blacks, even if they do look good.
Oh…wow. The packaging is just so gorgeous, and then the colors! I think Evidence is my favorite, but I can’t quite decide.
Too many of these colors look similar. :/ I don’t really like Urban Decay at all.
Will the palette be Limited Edition?
I have an unlikely issue with this product!
1) the packaging is bulky. I hate bulky packaging. Haaate!!! I refuse to purchase anything that will clutter up my bathroom/travel bag too much! (I travel and move all the time)
2) It’s too pretty to depot. I’m a cold hearted depotter, I depot Guerlain palettes, tokidoki palettes and smaller UD palettes without shedding a tear, but I can’t see myself depotting this in it’s glossy purple plastic-crystal goodness.

Tainted, Junkshow, Omen, and Deep End<3 But a lot of the shadows look similar to existin or Pre existing shades =\ Still excited though as I don't have a lot of UD shadows!
The packaging is GORGEOUS!
i’m glad i held out on the naked palette. This palette has such great variety. Omen looks like it may be a dupe for stars n rockets

I did read your review above and wanted to know if you would please confirm for me that the only color in this palette that has glitter is the midnight? Thank you. I love the UD shadows without the glitter. If there is only the one with glitter I will definately purchase this palette!
This palette could not have come at a worse time!! Grr…I don’t have the money put away to buy this thing and I know for sure that it will sell out faster than BOS III. Good Grief!

If I didn’t have the BOS2, BOS3, Naked palette, and Ammo palette then it would be worth buying but I think I have similar enough colors already to pass on this one.

No idea really – all of the Book of Shadows were limited, but 3 is still in stock nearly a year later.
Yup! I just checked (7/12 @ 12:30pm) and it’s already out of stock.
What?? No UDPP or eyeliner??? Anyway I’m still fiending for it. Looks like UD is going to do it to us once again. I’m still getting over the torture I went through to get Naked. It must be somewhat like childbirth even though it hurts you”ll still go through it again and again.
im torn. Its almost like a math game with UD, is it financially worth it if you’re getting dupes. There are about 4 shades I really want, but i know that i dont want a couple of them. The palette looks a bit small too. But at $17/single shadow i guess it is worth it, sigh. What a waste of the extras though (Deeper=smog, blackout=zero (or any other black out there), deep end=flipside?, and chase=pick a gold, any gold.) And Omen is asphyxia…look at the model at the ud homepage, its sheer. I wish we could just make our own UD palette!
Blackout is so different from Zero – Zero is a disappointment in comparison, IMO. Flipside is very green in comparison – you might want to loo at the Swatch Gallery
is the half truth color same as the ac/dc from the bos ii?

Ordered this once Ulta had it sent to them since it was sold out on UD website. A lot, if not all of these, can be duped, BUT being a make-up junkie lol, I still had to order it. It looks so pretty and you could never have to many palettes to travel with so you don’t have to carry individual shades. That’s how I reason with my spending

I just received mine in the mail and although its pretty i must admit its not anything different than all the other pallettes…..the colors are almost identical to my MYC palette.
