  1. Wow! I’d love to move in circles where a $588 lipstick set was the sort of gift a friend would buy me!

  2. Count me disappointed. Red lips and grey/silver eyes for Holiday. Nothing new.

  3. Jolien

I’d be over the moon if someone put this under the christmas tree for me <3 I'm probably gonna buy the Jasmin Rouge scent for myself anyhow. Even though I haven't had a chance to smell it yet. I generally love jasmin based perfumes and Tom Ford perfumes are always delightful.

  4. Tonya

Haaaaa $588 for a selection of twelve lipsticks. Like it’s not even discounted, of course not.

Even if I could afford that, I couldn’t buy it because then I’d feel obligated to wear only Tom Ford and no other lipsticks because what lipsticks would be as good?

I’d probably get the 4-pc gift set but I’d rather just, buy the lippies myself. I’m getting the Kat Von D mini lipstick set for myself and a friend.

    • i want the kat von d lipstick box so bad i went to sephora and played wit them an they are amazing!!! so cute too.

      • Tonya

I love the look of it, since I love vampy colors. I’m passing the pinks and corals off to my friend and keeping the rest. Still worth it.

  5. That lipstick set is amazing! And the nail varnishes also look gorgeous!

This brand seems so overrated. What am I missing?

Tom Ford has nice products. I have a few lipsticks & an eyeshadow quad.

However with that being said their lipsticks while uber nice dont seem any better than Dior or Chanel. It’s just hype built by the exclusivity & status that owning one makes people feel or appear.

The eyeshadow quad is rather lovely . Pigmented, smooth … Nice shades ( I have cocoa mirage.) . However Mac makes dupes for at least three of the shades…

Tbh I am more impressed with Burberry’s single eye shadows… They truly apply like a dream .

    • I was joking with a student (who is also mad for makeup) a while back that at these prices for lipstick, we’d be scraping it off the edge of our coffee cups to put it back on our lips!

  7. I really want one of their quads, but they’re soooo out of my price range.

  8. I swatched Rouge Fatale at Saks Fifth Avenue today. Absolutely gorgeous.

WHY OH WHY DOES THESE HAVE TO BE SO EXPENSIVE???

  10. Ooooh, I REALLY want to try TF Jasmin Rouge Eau de Parfum. I’m going to check out The Perfumed Court to see if they have samples I can order.

    My favorite scents are:
    Guerlain Shalimar Pure Parfum
    Bvlgari Jasmin Noir
    Chanel Allure
    Chanel No. 5
    Lolita Lempicka
Aquolina Pink Sugar (I know, but it’s so yummy!)

I have a feeling Jasmin Rouge Eau de Parfum will make it onto my counter. :D

By the way, Christine. I LOVE TF She Wolf palette. Fantastic trio worth every penny!

    • So glad you’re loving the She Wolf palette! That one seemed to resonate well with readers (more so than most TF products do, since they are expensive!).

      • There’s something about that third, sparkly shadow that makes this trio unique, and NO fallout. I am willing to pay for eyeshadows that adhere and don’t require me to wipe off half my makeup due to fallout. :D

  11. i would love the lipstick set but no one in my family has any money lol so i know that will never happen. plus if i was gonna drop that cash it would be on the UD huge shadow set!!

  12. Annie

Overpriced. Even if the quality of the lipsticks were amazing it doesn’t mean that it should be ridiculously at almost 600 bucks. That’s bullspit. And the quad eyeshadow for $78? C’mon? Black/ silver eyesdows…

    • I know…it almost seems like “the Emperor has no clothes”. I can’t get Tom Ford makeup where I am but I have the feeling that, while the quality is probably very good overall, even this line has some clinkers and are they all “that” much better than other excellent brands that cost considerably less (and also have clinkers – every makeup line does).

  13. I love the lipsticks, but I wouldn’t use half of them. I would only order if I could custom-pick the colors that go into it. I think they’d sell more if they offered that as an option. Decadent packaging!

  14. Was really excited to hear about the sets. Still not within my price range though!
