The Spring Season: Guerlain Georgia Rouge G Lipstick
Guerlain Georgia (#62) Rouge G Lipstick ($45.00) is a rosy, pretty-in-pink lipstick with a slight glossy sheen and no real shimmer. It applies opaque with just one or two light layers and really hugs your natural lip. Rouge Gs really do have a fantastic formula for those who can afford to indulge in it at such a hefty price tag. The packaging is, in my opinion, makes up for most of the price difference between Guerlain’s Kiss Kiss Lipstick and Rouge G Lipstick. It’s kind of a spage age packaging and weighs quite a bit (so on one hand, it feels like “Ohh, quality!” but then again, you don’t want to carry five of these in your purse). I get about four to six hours of wear with Rouge Gs, and they do have Guerlain’s sweet strawberry-ish scent, though I feel like it’s not quite as potent as their normal lipstick and gloss range.
Is this the right sheer lipstick for you? Would you wear it?
The Spring Season is a series of posts featuring my favorite soft beige, coral, and pink lipsticks and lipglosses — all perfect for the first blossom of spring — that runs through March 2010.

That’s pretty! What’s the other lipstick swatch in the last photo?
Gemma!
Love it!
It’s so pretty… I hope I can find it tomorrow since I’m goind make-up shopping
How come you almost always will review pink or peachy colors?
That’s the whole theme of the Spring Season — pinks, corals, and nudes!
Oh…well of course. Thanks!
Have it and love it!
Ooooh, thanks for the swatch! I was looking into picking this color up since I enjoyed Gemma so much!
Hey christine
Do you know of any less expensive dupes? maybe from mac? This color is beautiful but too expensive.
Not as of yet…
Ahhh so pretty! Although it looks like something I already have, but it doesn’t stop me from lemming it!
This is my HG pink lipstick, the best of the best for me !
You know, Christine, I finally caved in and decided to get Giulette. And guess what? It’s OUT OF STOCK AND THEY DON’T KNOW WHEN IT WILL BE REPLENISHED. Might take a month, they said. AAAARGH *rolls around in pain* The SA tried to offer me other colours but nothing compares to it, not even Georgia.
I HATE when that happens! Ahhh! You finally say, “Enough is enough!” and then it’s not there
I hope it’s in stock soon!
Christine, it looks very nice and pretty on you, I wish it looked on me this way, but on me it looks so much brighter and more opaque!
