The Spring Season: Dolce & Gabbana Velvet Lipstick
Dolce & Gabbana Velvet Classic Cream Lipstick (#130) ($27.00) is a beautiful soft pinky-rose. It has a semi-sheer look that looks very natural on lips. Even though it’s not opaque, it’s one of those “You don’t know I’m wearing lipstick” kind of shades. It’s just a very subtle hue and the color clings and never looks heavy. It is, though, surprisingly not as pigmented as several of the other Classic Cream shades I’ve tried, unfortunately. I like the way the results regardless, but I just thought I’d note that quality.

Might MAC slimshine in Intimidate be a close dupe?

I tried Long Stem Rose. I HATE that color. It looks TERRIBLE on me. Not sure it's even close to this color. Thanks.
It's just the best out of slimshines, if you were looking for a dupe in that formula!

oh my gosh, soo pretty! All these pink lipsticks you're featuring are KILLING ME! or my wallet, I mean :) This kind of reminds me of MAC's cute-ster lipstick, which I LOVE but am afraid to use for fear of running out! I hope this is a close dupe...

Ahhh! So beautiful :) I feel like a bunch of these lipsticks you're featuring in the Spring Season are colors I have been seeking for a long time. But all the ones I like are the most expensive ones :) (Guerlain Gentiane Rouge G and Lancome Voile de Rose are the other two I'm lusting after). Thank you for doing all of these swatches, it gives me an idea of where to go when I go to Sephora and Nordstrom. Otherwise I'd be totally lost!

L'Oreal has a very similar color: Diane's tuberose. It is not as creamy as this one, but the color is very close.
