Chanel Mythic Rouge Allure Lipstick
The Spring Season: Chanel Mythic Lipstick
Chanel Mythic Rouge Allure Lipstick ($30.00 for 0.12 oz.) is a soft nude-beige with subtle champagne shimmer and a rather glossy sheen. I love that it looks like a sheer, lightweight nude, but it’s actually nearly opaque on my lips. I do think those with more pigmented lips may find their natural lip color adds a bit of rosiness to the overall look, though. Rouge Allure Lipsticks carry a very, very low-level scent of roses–I almost wasn’t sure if there was a scent, but since I did go, “Roses?” initially, I’m going to stick with that. Rouge Allures feel incredibly light on lips, less like the average lipstick, and they’re creamy enough to glide on evenly but not so creamy that they slip-slide all over the place.
Is this the right nude lipstick for you? Would you wear it?
The Spring Season is a series of posts featuring my favorite soft beige, coral, and pink lipsticks and lipglosses — all perfect for the first blossom of spring — that runs through March 2010.

:D beautifull swatche and review ^^ This is my favorite nude!!!! I hoep that i will find the same shade in MAC lipstick. You've got very beautifull lip ^^
OMG! this looks like the perfect nude that has the color and texture spot on! very first chanel wishlist!<3
I love this shade. It's my HG lipstick. A bit of a warning for the ladies out there thinking of purchasing it though: It really is a nude shade, and it looks terrible on people who like to go light with their eye makeup. I know because I wear smokey eyes everyday, and I ALWAYS get compliments on this lipstick. Then my friends go buy it too, and it just looks disastrous on them because they wear very natural, barely noticeable eye makeup.
Lighter in a way - like it's much more lightweight, kind of a creamy/glossy feel in comparison, and I'd say not as pale.
Rouge Allure is my favorite lipstick of all time. That color is absolutely gorgeous on you. Hopefully I can wear it as well. I seem to have bad luck with nudes but this may have just enough pink to work. Going to the mall this weekend to purchase.
Stunning!!! This is my first Channel Lipstick (got it Nov 2009) and I fell for it when I realized that it muted the color of my lips and had a glossy opaque effect. I also like the packaging, sleek and sophisticated.
A beautiful mid-toned pink nude with a soft sheen but no shimmer is Rouge Allure in Naive. It's as innocent as its name :-)
I love the look of vulnerability the sheerness Mythic provides, however it's a wee bit too sheer so it looks just like a chapstick with a subtle sheen. If one was to splurge on a Chanel Rouge Allure, I wouldn't suggest this! I love Insouisance from the summer collection!
What chapstick are you talking about? lol. If I could just use chapstick and get this colour, I would have a lot more money in my wallet.
Im a dark african american and aint no way thats gonna be nude for me BUT that color is DROP DEAD GORGEOUS ON YOU. IMO its a perfect MLBB
