I use NARS’ Hydrating Toner pumped onto a cotton pad right before swatches, but overall, I use Sara Happ’s The Lip Scrub most of the time.

There’s two of the reds that I LOVE!
MAC Dubonnet Lipstick (perfect colour between bright & dark red)
Make Up For Ever #205 Lipstick (Gorgeous opaque bright red)

Just a quick question for you, What are you using/doing to keep your lips so smooth?? Every home remedy that I’ve tried hasn’t worked.

Concealer around the lips is a good trick! (I didn’t do it here, though!) It’s something I do when I wear bolder shades in a regular look. I’d also say you could use a lip brush dipped in makeup remover for a defined edge as well.

How do you get such a defined edge around your lips? I have a hard time with this, especially with gloss. I use lip liner but have never been able to acheive such perfection as you did in this photo!
