Dream Mousse Bronzer – it’s like putting mud on your face. Bronzer just doesn’t work as a product made THAT thickly x

    E.L.F.’s bronzer. It’s a streaky muddy mess.

I’m a big MAC fan, but I don’t like their bronzers. I’m very fair (NW15) and even their lightest shade makes me look like I’m covered in dirt!

i have to say laguna for my skintone…not that its terrible on all, but on my fair warm skin i need a little bit of orange for it to look natural. laguna looks like dirt on my face :(

If I am to be entirely honest, I do not think there is a bronzer I have used that I did not like. :-S I love trying new makeup; so I have used Nars Laguna, MAC Golden Bronze, Chanel Bronze Universel, Benefit Hoola, etc and I love them all. Is there something wrong with me? Lol.

No, i am the same way….there some i like more than others…but I have never really had a bad bronzer… How was the chanel…that is one i have been meaning to try…

I really love the Chanel one. I’m onto my 2nd pot even though they last sooo long. I think it is now sold under the name “Soleil Tan De Chanel”. It takes a while to get used to because the formula is different and most of us are used to powder bronzers but the finish is really lovely. I would definitely recommend trying it. If you have a MAC 109 brush that will work perfectly with it. :-)

Bare Minerals “Warmth” bronzer is the worst…. even with a light hand, it makes your skin look like a terracotta pot!

I love NARS Casino and Chanel Bronze universal. When a bronzer doesn’t work for me it’s because the tone is wrong (like NARS Laguna being too cool) rather than the product itself being bad.

So with that being said, I haven’t met a “bad” bronzer.

I agree. People are all saying this Nars shady is horrible or some other brand shade but it’s the color not the actual formula of the powder.

Nars Laguna is the worst for me- I have very pale, cool skin so I need a bronzed that will warm up my complexion. My current favorite is Nars Irresistiblement – a gorgeous terracotta color that blends so nicely!

I have to agree with Cheryl S. — BE’s Warmth, hands down — I looked like an Ooompa-Looompa….

I’d have to say bare minerals warmth. this came free in the starter kit and i have tried so many times to make it work on my NW15 skin, but it always just makes me look dirty and muddy.

We have this stuff in NZ called Thin Lizzy, there are only two shades, it claims to be a 6 in 1. When I tried it I swept it on lightly cos I am very pale, it came out like my skin was dirty and made and bumps and imperfections show up! NZ woman on the whole aren’t very beauty-savvy so most of my friends actually use this! It’s ok on some olivey tones but you should look this stuff up, it’s horrible!

I’m agreeing with Nars Laguna, yuk. And BM Warmth, you have to be oh so careful with it and you still end up looking orangey.
Still looking for the perfect bronzer for pale skin with reddish undertones, blue eyes and red hair.

I honestly haven’t met a single bronzer I DO like, they always look funky on my uber-pale skin.

Melissa,I have the same problem and found the solution in a cheapie product, no less…Cover Girl Cheekers Bronzer (in the compact, not Tru Blend)in light. It gives a light warmth with no orange or or muddy undertones. It has a very fine shimmer, but no glitter.I can’t believe how good it is for $5.00 or $6.00!!

Urban Decay baked bronzer. Straight up orange. So orange, in fact, that I covered my face and neck in it for Halloween as part of my costume for Patty Mayonnaise.

Bronzers just don’t work on me. So I am using them as face shapers to hollow out my cheeks. Need to mix it with a little blusher to take away the muddy color.

My whole tube of face bronzer is still untouched. What can I do with it? As a eyeshadow?
