Oooh! Look What Brand Listened and Gave Us Better Packaging! (And a new shade!)

Thursday, November 15th, 2012

Kudos, Benefit! Thanks for listening! Way better than the pump. Coming in January (yes, January of 2013), Benefit will launch both the new doe-footed applicator as well as a darker shade, Medium/Deep, of their Stay Don’t Stray. I can’t tell you how AMAZING it is when brands listen to customer feedback.

    Yessssss! Finally!

  2. Wouldn’t a squeeze tube have been better? Doe foot applicators are so unsanitary. I guess it’s nice that they’re listening and changed it… but they’re probably gonna have to change it in the future anyways since doe foots always get complaints.

I want so badly to love Stay Don’t Stray but it just doesn’t work for me! My eyeshadow creases within hours. And I’m stuck with a full bottle with the pump that I don’t know what to do with.

If you bought it at Ulta, you can return it.

    • When I got my sample of the Stay Don’t Stray primer, I used it on my stubborn pimple to give it a skin tone base that was light and then hoped that my concealer stuck to it. Honestly, I really liked how it looked throughout the day! I don’t have oily skin, I’d say I’m more normal than anything else but you might want to give it a try ! :)

I have combination to oily skin and I also use my Stay Dont Stray for all my concealing, not just under my eyes, and I feel liek it does help the coverage lst all day long (I don’t like wearing foundation every day, so it’s important that my concealer lasts)

same here.. it doesn’t work for me at all. and i can’t returnt it! plus, its such a shame since its one of the most expensive eye primers out there.

  4. Finally!! I love this eye primer but hated the old packaging so I didn’t repurchase it!!!

I love Benefit. They really do care about their customers!

  6. Maybe they’ll listen to my emails about going cruelty free! They really needed to change that pump it was awful!

How is a doe fit applicator better? People always seemed to complain when UDPP had the doe-foot, not sure how much of an upgrade this may be. :|

    • One of the problems with UD was the shape of the bottle with all the curves, which made it hard to maneuver the wand around. I prefer a doe-foot myself over pots, squeeze-tubes, and pumps!
