Lipsticks…
Wearing them makes me look 10 years older than I actually am but I get so hooked on the prettyfull colors that I just can’t help but put it in my basket. Most of the time I return them anyway though. xD

Yes, Yes and omg Yes
I am adicted to buying limited edition dior makeup. U know they usually do jewellery rings dices. I have the dices, the rings, the pallets, the necklaces, the keychain… and i think ive only swiped each thing once.
But one thing i will never use… is the dior blossom pallet that came out recently and omg its just too gorgeous to wreck lol

Ohh, I definitely know what you’re talking about. Oh yes, the Dior Blossom palette was gorgeous.

I have started collecting ‘designed’ powder palette/compacts. I have a Chantecaille Protect Paradise eye palette I’ll never use. There are a few more that I haven’t used and Chantecaille is supposed to be coming out with a new one for the fall, so I have $90 already accounted for.

Whew! Those are pricey collectibles :) I’m jealous, though – so pretty.

Yes. I bought a Dior quint in a shade that I rarely use. Pink Idol is the quint. It’s pretty and all. There was one shade in particular that really pushed me to buy it. But I wish if I was going to pay that much for something I had chosen colors that I’d wear more often. So while I can’t say I never use I do rarely use it.

Well, at least you use it sometimes :) What color was it that got you?

The lower left shade, a golden pink. But the upper left shade is lovely too, it’s a taupe like pink with a bit of green flash. Both are quite unusual though now that I have Expensive Pink I see that it is close to this.

I’m guilty of buying limited edition dior stuff too but how can u resist? I bought port red lipstick and I am certain that I’ll never wear it.
Christine

You haven’t worn Port Red? OMG!

I usually buy a new kind of selftan every year, and I never finish them. The one for this year I haven’t even opened, and I probably never will.
Christine
Wednesday, August 13, 2008
Aw! Which one did you buy this year that you didn’t open?

Comodynes Towelettes, luckily they aren’t that expensive here, and they’ve expired so I can throw them away without the bad conscience. Oooh, and I always buy some fancy cellulite creme I never finish :P
Christine

How come you never finish? Just move onto the next?!

For me its usually the case of buying things that I never get around to using, not that I conciously know I will never use them. Oddly enough when I think about it, there are a load of Bobbi Brown palettes I have bought and almost never used. I don’t know what I’m saving them for, but they are all there, waiting!

LOL! How funny. I tend to buy stuff and never get around to using it, too. I can’t think of any product I bought knowing I probably would never use it, though.

Errm…hair dye. I thought I’d save money dying my own hair. I knew I’d never get around to doing it myself but I hoped that having the box would prompt action. Alas, it sits collecting dust.

LOL! Very nice. I stocked up on a few boxes, and I ended up no longer dying my hair… so I have a few sitting around my parents’ house, too.

I bought a MAC viva glam lip palette. I won’t use it cause I don’t like how they look used. It grosses me out.

I bought MAC Strobe Cream. I didn’t like the way it sat on my skin and thought it added more of a “shine” than a “glow.” But I was such a MAC whore that I had to have it anyway!
Christine
Thursday, August 14, 2008
Oh, no! I hate when glowy products give you shine instead. MAC’s Satinfinishd oes that to me.

This Dior Flight Palette. It came with two lipglosses and a blush thing. It also came with a lip brush and a flat blush brush- the only thing I use is the lip brush!!!

In general, I’m a sucker for fun packaging and limited colors that I can’t dupe. My name is Marsina and I’m a makeup addict and MAC whore. It’s been 12 hours since my last purchase. I have enough makeup for 10 lifetimes but I’ll be falling off the wagon again big time when Cult of Cherry launches.
I buy obnoxious colors that I know I won’t use very often but it makes me feel better to have them just in case. Every so often I do actually use them, mostly for a theme party or Halloween. Examples–all of the bright neon looking eyeshadows from C Shock, Electro lipstick, Mi’Lady Mineralize duo (purple/red), blue lipstick, glitter liquid liners, glitter/shimmer anything,(god I love glitter), Skinsheen in dark for my legs which I actually used a couple of times when I was self tanning but I won’t be using again till next summer because I’m back to my paler than pale self, (MAC doesn’t make a foundation pale enough for me in the winter, so I mix the white face & body with the N1 so I have something to wear.

Lots of lipsticks (Port Red for example), that are so beautiful, but too bold for me. I can see myself getting a problem with the upcoming CoC collection lipsticks…
Christine

I do this, too, Nell! I don’t wear bolds lips often, and yet I’m so drawn to them!

I purchsed Mi’Lady Mineralize duo because it was sold out everywhere and I had the chance to purchase it. I have never worn it. It is still in the box in a dusty corner of my train case. I bring it out every so often to show my friends my cool shadow is and we may even swipe a finger over it but then it goes back in its box in the dusty corner of my traincase. I still love it though!

Yes.. Thoose ELF All Over Colour sticks.. It was on offer if you bought something you got it free.. So I wanted to try their lipgloss (which is WAYY too sticky) and then got this too (which I thought would be good) but then I used it once and never used it again!
Everyone was raving about it so I wanted to try it out but hey it was soo cheap I thought why not.. Still it sucks!
