Scarlett Johansen. I always thought her beauty is timeless. Her makeup would always compliment her “old” look (60s-70s look). She would always have bright red lipstick on with flawless makeup. She’s a young bright talented actress and she would be a great contender for the next Viva Glam spokesperson title.
Although, I do not think she will get this as the other spokespersons from the past, have been musicians and they have that fiery side to them that seems to lack with Johanssen – well for the time being at least.

I think Gwen Steffani would be a great choice.

Amanda Lepore :) Lets get back to the days of RuPaul and spokes models who could kick some serious cool’ness ass!! blah blah Fergie…who cares..she is sooo NOT cool. Now people like RuRaul…that’s cool :) Amanda Lepore falls into that same catagory…as cool as they get!! You say – but he/she is kinda freaky! Yes, and thats why I adore her…she is Barbie and everything “Hollywood” in one great big lipped package :) I simply adore her!!
http://www.amandaleporeonline.com/ (this website has music, so if you are at work, turn your volume off).
I think MAC has forgotten its roots, people who are pasionate about fighting HIV/AIDS in the world, people like Sir Elton John, RuPaul, Debbie Harry, Dita..people who are classic’s, people who are fighting to make the world a better place, not people like Fergie who just knows how to shakes her lady humps.

Here here!
I would love to see some like Amanda or Gwen Stefani or someone who is innovative, stylish, and original! Fergie is none of those things (occasionally she’s number 2, but that credit should really go to her stylist.)

Actually, Fergie IS passionately involved in Aids awareness and the fight against the disease, especially in children. The coolest thing about the VG VI SE proceedes is that the sales of ALL 400,000 pieces will contribute more than $5 million dollars to organizations for CHILDREN of Fergie’s choice.
The coolest thing about having someone like Fergie for a spokes model is her ability to publicize the product. She’s SO avid about this product now, just like any of the spokes models… the morning she was on The View, I alone probably had 25 customers come to the counter asking about the product. 90% of them had no idea who she was, but she was a hot young thang on the view, promoting a lipgloss that will help children in need. THAT is why she’s our new spokes model!!

I agree with Tanya’s comments. :) I was really happy to see Dita Von Teese for Viva Glam. Personally I’d love to see Angelina Jolie (who has only gotten more beautiful over time, not to mention her social work) Siouxsie Sioux (a true original, and always in red lipstick) Tori Amos (classic beauty) and one of the more alternative models, like Audrey Kitching or Apnea.
Tanya
Monday, February 18, 2008
OMG I just saw Siouxie last week in SF…she looks AMAZING! Rasputina was the opening act for her.Sshe has gotten sooooo freakn hot in her “older” age…totally fit body, obviously doing yoga or pilates, and yes, wearing her signature red lipstick.

GWEN!!! i heard a rumor that they offered it to her and she said no…thats why they got fergie…blah…but id definitly wanna see gwen as the viva spokesmodel..
and im suprised someone mentioned audrey kitching or apnea… i love audrey kitchings hair! but i didnt know that they were both well known. i know apnea has a paysite and i love her work with lithium picnic, but viva glam needs a spokesmodel that EVERYONE knows. :D

Tanya
Monday, February 18, 2008
yea, I am not a fan of Angelila Jolie but I think everyone is right she would make a great spokesperson, she really seems to stand for what Viva Glam is about.

Rhianna……….and I, too, would like to see Angelina Jolie
Ping.

I was thinking Gwen Stefani or Angelina Jolie. This both celeb really stand out and also something unique about themselves.

Monday, February 18, 2008
Gwen Stefani… she can cross cultural barriers and for us latinas, Jennifer Lopez (style diva)

OMG, I would just love to have Christine be a spokeswoman for MAC!!! She is just a perfect person all around. I wish that I could be just like her. I love the way she does her makeup and the way her hair falls. I love Christine!!! Even her moles are so wonderful! Christine is such a perfect person that I couldn’t imagine anybody else that would be better as a spokesperson. She is right up there with Gwen for me. Matter of fact, Christine is my number one choice! Christine, Christine, Christine all the way. Let’s start voting for our beautiful and perfect Christine!!!
Davina
Monday, February 18, 2008
Christine who?
bec
Tuesday, February 19, 2008
Christine..as in the Christine who manages and founded this site.
And I agree with Pearl!!!
Davina
Monday, February 18, 2008
Gwen would be a good choice but then would the collection have to be all reds (like she wears). I also think Janet Jackson would be a good choice.
Pearl
Monday, February 18, 2008
Christine, our headmistress of sorts, our blogging guru, our Queen of McQueens, our Moderator of temptalia.com of course!!!
Tekoa
Monday, February 18, 2008
I second that motion!
Pearl
Monday, February 18, 2008
My second choice would be Lyza Manelli. Oh, what a darling icon!
Pearl
Monday, February 18, 2008
My third choice would be boy George!
Kelly
Monday, February 18, 2008
Boy George was already a spokesperson in 2004. ;)
Shanae
Monday, February 18, 2008
Kim Kardashian…I know a lot of people hate her, but her makeup is always gorgeous & I love her style!!
Kelly
Monday, February 18, 2008
I personally don’t care a whole lot about who is the VG spokesperson. Anyone famous who is willing to take time out of their own busy schedule to bring awareness to the MAC AIDS campaign is fine by me.
Lydia
Monday, February 18, 2008
I think Gwen Stefani would be a good choice too.
Pearl
Monday, February 18, 2008
That’s right Kelly, Aids awareness is number 1! I meant to say Nicky Hilton…somebody who doesn’t have a sex tape at least!
kat
Monday, February 18, 2008
Dita is my fave of all of the newer ones. I heard a rumor that Fergie was signed recently…. and…. I don’t really care for her, nor do I personaly believe tat she is a good choice. Some mentioned Gwen Stefani and ANgelina Jolie and I think these are both better choices… especially Jolie because she seems pretty involved in these types of projects :)
Kristen

Sarah Jessica Parker

Monday, February 18, 2008
i would love angelina jolie. i mean not only does she have the lips and looks so confident but she’s involved with all these work in other countries and her family’s like all of different races, it’s pretty cool, isn’t it.
Brooke
Monday, February 18, 2008
SJP, Gwen & Kim K (sorry I love her lol) are all awesome choices! I would love to see someone like Christina Aguliera (gotta love the Pittsburgh girl!) do it.
lala
Monday, February 18, 2008
They said it, “gwen”.
Clover
Monday, February 18, 2008
Even though if asked she would most likely refuse, my vote is for BETH DITTO!
Tanya
Monday, February 18, 2008
OMG I LOVE LOVE LOVE Beth Ditto :) Great suggestion!!
Carrie
Monday, February 18, 2008
I’d like it to be a man. I love it when guys wear makeup. But, I guess it wouldn’t sell as well, so maybe I’d vote for Liv Tyler ‘cuz she’s gorgeous.

Monday, February 18, 2008
I think Sarah Jessica Parker would be awesome. To me, she is the epitome of Glam and she seems down to earth…something I think the Viva Glam spokesperson should be.
I wouldn’t mind seeing Courteney Cox either. She’s so pretty with the black hair and blue eyes…that would be a really cool exotic collection I think.
Rachel
Monday, February 18, 2008
I think Sophia Bush would be a great spokesmodel. She seems so down to earth! :)
Monique

kelly osbourne
Cristina

i would agree with gwen stefani!
natasha
Monday, February 18, 2008
i think Kat Von D would definately be able to rock the campaign and add edge to it too. i’d like to see viva glam go that way.
my second choice would be gwen coz she’s cool like that.
Clover
Tuesday, February 19, 2008
Oh yes! Kat Von D! That’s a grand suggestion.
Heather
Tuesday, February 19, 2008
I also agree with Kat Von D!!! They could sell those temp tatoos that Kat could design. It would be sooooo cool!
Tanya
Monday, February 18, 2008
I got stuck in traffic today and got to thinking about the question some more and had a few more ideas :)
I would love to see some old skool rocker chicks do the campaign. The ladies who were out there raising awareness for HIV/AIDS when it was first being talked about. Back in the day when artsy gay men were the ones who were the victims (vs now where its more dominant in third world countries).
Ladies like Cher, Madonna, Pat Benatar, Cindy Lauper, and to throw in a man George Michael :) These people were all pioneers in the fight for a cure.
I would also love to see a power couple doing the gig, Iman and David Bowie….I know she would never do it since she has her own line of make-up…BUT god they would be soooo cool as a spokescouple.
Tosha
Monday, February 18, 2008
I agree 100%!! It’d be so cool to get back to the basics for VG VII!
Joli
Monday, February 18, 2008
I wish they would bring back the Eddie Izzard shade. He deserves more than a flash in the pan with MAC.

Monday, February 18, 2008
I AGREE, GWEN STEFANI HANDS DOWN. OR MAYBE CAT FROM LA. INK. ((I GUESS BECAUSE OF DiTA VON TEESE??, I LUV THE RETRO LOOK)) IT BRINGS OUT THE TRUE BEAUTY OF MAKE UP :]
Rayanna
Monday, February 18, 2008
Maybe Amy Lee from Evanescence? :)
Tosha
Monday, February 18, 2008
Honestly, I’d love to see Madonna be our new spokes model! MAC started as a lipstick business, and one of the most popular/first ever was Russian Red, which was made for Madonna! Why not go back to the classic foundation of the business?
Gwen, I think, would be a WONDERFUL addition to the list. If you take a look, all of our spokes models have had an impact on society/hollywood/awareness in a good way. I’m PROUD to have Fergie added to the family. She’s sexy, she has flaws – like we ALL do, and she’s pretty involved in awareness.
claudine
Tuesday, February 19, 2008
Gwen Stefani , JLo, Paris Hilton (sorry love her lol)
Keira Knightley would be hot too
or our Christine woot wooot
Megan
Tuesday, February 19, 2008
Rachel McAdams. She’s from Toronto, which would be a good “back to their roots” type for MAC. She’s beautiful (STUNNING), wears makeup well (very versatile), is well known but not over exposed and her sister is becoming a well known makeup artist in the industry.
Gwen Stefani would be great also.

i would love to see Kirsten Dunst, Amanda Bynes or Emma Watson.
though i totally agree Gwen Stefani would be amazing!

rhianna wud make a gud choice based purely on asthetics and hip-ness, shes beautiful and of the moment but i think scarlett johansson wud be the better choice. in fact, scarlett has spoken in d past about the importance of safe sex and regular sexual health check ups which is what aids awareness is partially about. prevention is better than cure. she is also a self confessed make up lover. scarlett wud make a great choice.

Reese Witherspoon or Gwen Stefani. :)
