For years I only wore lipstick. Hated the stickiness of lipgloss, but in the last year I’ve become a die-hard lipglass fan.

This month I’m loving Stylistic and Dubonnet. Oh, and the Scene, which is more of a berry red.

Definitely lipstick – in all shades of red, of course :) I didn’t like gloss before I started using Clarins lip balm, which I now use as a thin layer over matte lipstick. I don’t use lip gloss unless I am going for a nude lip, which hardly ever happens!

Yet another vote for pink lips :) LOVE IT! I do lipstick with gloss on top usually. Almost always pink. I recently had a MA talk me into the joys of red clothing and pink lips, she said it was very valentines day looking and could also be pulled off at Xmas time if done right. I am still a little on the fence about it but giving it a try. I like red lips but during the day at a school function it can come across as a bit much.
This weekend is going to be mellow for us. Doing some bell rining for the Salvation Army later today as volunteers for the cub scouts. An indoor soccer game tomorrow and going to finish decorating. I have my sewing final on Wed, I have a little bit of studying left to do in order to feel prepared.

I usually do lipstick + gloss, too. It’s hard for me to wear either alone. I’ve found deeper reds aren’t so bad in the day, especially when they’re semi-matte or matte.

My fav makeup item of all times are lipsticks, even if I have nothing else on, I will always apply a lipstick before I go out – Red lippies are my ultimate makeup weapon!

I’m a gloss freak, but I think I’m going to see if the coral or pink finery sets suit me. If so, Merry Christmas to me!!
I plan on spending my weekend bumming around with the hubby & our two doggies. It’s cold & snowing, but I imagine we’ll bundle up and indulge the pups with their usual weekend trips to the dog park anyway. Our female was living in NC last winter (we rescued her in August) so she saw snow for the first time this week and is a total clown running around in the few inches that’s fallen. The park should be a riot. =)

lip stain only one or two shades deeper than my natural lip color. it should be more berry, not more pink or red. lip stain doesnt leave the lips as quickly as either gloss or lipstick and looks more natural while still delivering color. if you want to prevent windburn during the winter, use lip gloss over it.
