What’s your favorite eyeshadow ever? Why?

Rye is probably my favorite–if I had to just pick one! It’s a stunning antique gold shade with just a little bit of shimmer but plenty of color pay off. I have three, LOL!

Hmm, it’s a toss up between All that Glitters and Smoke and Diamonds, but anytime I’m feeling yucky, a bit of ATG will brighten my look right up, and I like that it’s permanent too!
Beauty Marked — It was one of my first MAC shadows way back when, and i really like it as a smoke-out colour — it gives a little “kick” over carbon =)
I like Femme-Fi a lot. It’s a great neutral shade!
I love my violet pigment,and my pearl glide eyeliner in Rave! I am a purple girl!

Probably Sunset B, perfect pink color.
Hmmm.. I guess for me it’s Satin Taupe. I’m into neutrals and this shadow is great for smoking out the look.
MAC shroom, I can use this with everything!

Guess ill have to pick Parfait D’amour then. I know alot of people hate it, but to me its the perfect purple and it becomes alot more blendable with a drop of mixing medium.

I love Ricepaper! A friend used my makeup one day at work and she had used it as a highlight and on the inner corners. All day I kept saying, “you have got to get Ricepaper.” It is beautiful!
I adore Idol Eyes but WITHOUT base. I usually wear it just with a black pencil and make it fade putting it under the eyeshadow, sometimes I use Parfait Amour in the crease.
The reason why I love it so much is because when you put it on it looks very silver but then it becomes more purple and golden! (I tried once with Soft Ochre as a base -which I use everyday under eyeshadows- but I thought it sucked, it was really a different colour)
I’d pick Smoke and Diamonds. Such a gorgeous shimmery taupe color that blends so easily! Who can NOT love this color? I usually smear Blackground paint pot onto my lids as a base/liner and put S&D on top of it.. paired with pearlglide liner in Wolf on the bottom it creates the *perfect* smokey look for me! Too bad I don’t have a backup of it! :’(
HONEY LUST!! It’s been my favorite since the first time I used it.
Honestly my fave is Jane e/s in Hip Bone, it’s the perfect brow highlight with decent color payoff. I have been using it since HS!
As for a MAC color I would say Shadowy Lady, since it’s dark like carbon but the purple makes it softer.

Stila’s kitten eyeshadow. When I’m in a hurry, it’s a no brainer. It’s even more perfect in the summer when it’s really hot out and you’re wearing a mostly bare face.
Moth Brown, on top of Sharkskin shadestick and Vanilla eyeshadow as a lightly creates a really easy peasy smokey look that I love. I wish I had a back up of it.

MAC Haux
Urban Decay Smog is my total go-to shadow.
All time fave shadow is Annabelle #246(nugget), its a gorgeous bronzy/pinky/peach which looks great with my hazel/green eyes. Fave MAC is Novel Twist from the Cool Palette from the Novel Twist Collection.
MAC Expensive Pink is probably my favorite right now.

Woodwinked is my favorite. It can be paired with so many colors.
Freshwater tops my list. I love to wear blues or just add a little bit of blue to my lower lashline
My #1 is Shu Uemura ME Silver 945 – its discontinued now, but you can get a fairly similar shade (the remake is not quite the same) ME Brown 850…it is the most amazing plummy taupe/gunmetal colour. I only have one, so I don’t use it very often.
my fave pigment would be pinked mauve, and actual shadow would be grand entrance, its just sooo pretty especially with satin taupe or magnetic fields
Nanogold (with Shore Leave a close runner up).
MAC Shroom makes its way into my beauty routine every single day in one way or another. I end up needing to buy a new one every 2 months since i use it soo much. Femme Fi is starting become my new Shroom as well!
It is hard to only pic one! But I have to say MAC´s Club. You could have it to brown, gold, and green shades.

Vex is my favorite,with Satin Taupe close behind..I love Vex ’cause it’s so versatile(looks good with purples,plums,navies,greys,blacks,taupes)..Satin Taupe is my go-to color when I am not sure what to wear..I like pairing it with Mystery.
I say MAC Silver Ring because I can just wear it on my lid and it really brings my blue/grey eyes out….. Im not a fan of neutrals while I love anything on the greyscale line from Gesso to Carbon =]

MAC Sable – its the PERFECT versatile bronze shade. I even use it over black pencil to create chocolate-colored liner without having to buy a new eyeliner!
I adore MAC’s Matte2 eyeshadows. The pigmentation and consistency are absolutely amazing.

What a tough question! I´m not sure which one that is my no1 but I really love MAC Starflash eyeshadows, especially Mink & Sable and Top Hat.
i use sweet sienna for my everyday look but it isn’t really an eyeshadow so i’m gonna go with stars ‘n’ rockets. it’s so pretty! and it’s perfect on the lid for a purple eye (which is what i like to wear most of the time).

If for no other reason than it’s the most used with the largest dip, compared to all the rest I have. It looks good with pretty much anything.

My favorite eyeshadow ever is Sisley Golden Touch. Basically, it’s a multipurpose product but it’s presented like an eyeshadow. It’s an extremely rich gold color, on the warm side. The texture is a bit creamy, melting without being oily at all as it’s a cream-to-powder product.
Put over a black eyeshadow it blend into something looking like gold on old paitings, very luminous and playing with light. It’s absolutely gorgeous. Too bad it’s very expensive thought (around 27€). I wish I could find a similar product on Mac, but it seems they have nothing like this.

In Living Pink – I’m on my backup pot now…this colour is perfect for my pale skin and green eyes and I use it almost every day

How to choose just one? I think in terms of a colour I absolutely adore, probably TiGi’s Teal. But for a really useful colour, definitely Red Earth’s Cleopatra. Totally gorgeous, rich bronze-brown with hints of green.
I’ve already picked smoke and diamonds but honestly it’s surprising to see that no one has mentioned Lancome Erica F! It’s got khaki, taupe, silver, a little bit of gold.. it’s beautiful. I love to create a 30-second semi-smokey look with Erica F and Clinique cream shaper(liner) in Egyptian. Def. worth checking out!
MAC’s shale is my fave. I love a greyish purple!

i’d have to say the maybelline bronze glitz eyeshadow trio…the middle gold/bronze color…it is perfect to blend and i love pairing it with pinks, purples, my mac coppering…for a drugstore brand it’s great!
I’m a huge fan of Star Violet. I used to have bright red hair, and it was a great complimentary colour for a neutral-ish look.

)! Been away for a few days, so only just saw it – lovely surprise.
My favourite eyeshadow is probably Mac Goldmine, as it’s such a great, true gold colour and I haven’t found another gold which has been as vivid. It goes well with so many other shades too. I’ve been using Expensive Pink a lot recently and that’s becoming a big favourite of mine (especially when it’s used over Rubenesque painpot) as well but if I have to pick one, then probably Goldmine.
Wow, I can’t believe that no one has mentioned Carbon! This is definately my most used shadow, I wold be lost without it! I know its only plain black but I use it everyday in some way or another. Apart from Carbon I love Retrospeck. Even though it’s a lustre!
