  1. I always “forget” to wear sunscreen, but when I do it has to be one that does not end up looking chalky against my dark skin. Any recommendations? =)

    • Hey Marsadie! I haven’t found any problems where it doesn’t dry invisible, actually… hm, have you tried like a ton or just one or two?

      • I have tried an SPF Lancome moisturizer, and even that was chalky. I’m convinced that I’ll always have to skip it! I always brag that I’ll never get skin cancer but watch me be one of the rare cases ;p

Clarins UV Plus Dayscreen SPF 40 – this stuff is wonderful. It’s a non-chemical sunscreen that blocks both UVA and UVB, also has been revised this year to help block pollution (so they say!) It absorbs almost on contact – you can’t feel it on at all. I’m bad – I’m tan/olive, so I don’t use sunscreen very often – but for those days at the beach where you will be exposed all day, this is awesome. The only negative is the price, $40.00 for 1 ounce. But since I don’t use it everyday, this lasts me an entire spring/summer season.

I’ve never found one that doesn’t break me out if I wear it every day. I use a tinted moisturizer from Neutrogena that has some SPF, but probably not enough. Any recommendations for something really non-greasy? I’ve tried Neutrogena’s moisturizer with SPF 30 and hated it.

I was looking at the Clinique spf 40 City Block. It’s not a moisturizer, but it’s supposed to be very non-drying.
We’ll see what my favorite sunscreen is when I get my Sephora Sun Safety kit! They’re back in stock. YES!

Clarins UV Plus SPF40 is really great!

I use Patricia Wexler’s moisturizer with SPF30. It’s awesome. For the body, Neutrogena Dry-Touch. I love it.

I’ve yet to really find a sunscreen that I can tolerate. For my face, I make do with a moisturizer, primer, and mineral powder, all with spf figuring there’s more to sweat off even though I know it doesn’t increase the spf.

But considering that I don’t really end up out in the sun much for long periods of time between my job, my boyfriend, and school, I’m usually okay. Now and then I’ll get a burn on my arm from driving with my arm out the window, but that’s probably the most sun my body has seen in years. I’m not really a beachy person.

I don’t really go outside much during the day, so the SPF from my moisturizers (SPF 15) is pretty good, and I don’t have to worry about breaking out from it (I’m outside something like 5-15 minutes a day).

For days that I’m outside for longer periods of time, I like Neutrogena Sheer Touch SPF 55 or 70, depending on the length of time. I haven’t tries wearing it every day, but I can see it breaking me out if I did, because it shares a lot of ingredients with primers.

Another one I really like is Colorscience Sunforgettable SPF 30 powder. What’s great about this one is that you don’t have to wait 15-20 minutes after you put it on before you can go outside. You just brush it on, pat it down, and go. I leave it in my bag in case I ever find myself needing to use sunscreen, and I’m away from home. The tube I got is still going strong, and you can buy refills.

I use Neutrogena Dry-Touch Sunblock in SPF30…I love it coz it doesn’t leave a greasy finish and it moisturizes my skin a bit. But I plan to try Blue Lizard Sunscreen coz it has Titanium Dioxide which is a better ingredient than what Neutrogena has.

Shiseido spf 55 lotion. It seriously makes my oil pit so much better. Usually by second period my skin is already oily, with this on, I’m only slightly oily until fourth period which is about 11. This may not seem much but my skin is a serious vat of oil.

  14. I like the one from Fruit of the Earth. :)

  15. They have it at Target :)
