Temptalia Asks You – What is your best tip for looking fresh-faced?
What is your best tip for looking fresh-faced? What trick or tip do you have that wakes up your face in the morning?
For me, it’s as simple as soaking a wash cloth in warm water and laying it over my face for a minute or two. The steam really wakes me up and gives my face a slightly flushed and misted feeling.

Sleeping!!!!!!!!!!!!!
if i didn’t get my sleep at night,no makeup on earth will make me fresh faced
plus some good news in the morning can make all the difference!
for example that i passed my exams,or we won the lottery and i can buy lots of MAC
Great advice, Zsofi! Definitely getting a good amount of sleep is essential to looking good.
I make up myself at 6.30 am, i can barely open my eyes, but my khol, my mascara and my foolish me blush always help to wake my face up every morning.
Wow, early, Virginia! I know a good spritz of water helps me feel awake.
Exfoliating, and minimal face make up. A fresh natural blush color just on the apples of the cheeks. But, you can still play up the eyes…use natural color shadows
Great tips, Elegant-one
I love using Tarte’s Rest Assured on days when I look tired. It’s duel-ended: one side is a flesh colored eyeliner (to be applied to your lower waterline) and the other side is a cream highlighter. I tend to like powder highlighters better though so I usually forgo the cream highlighter. But that pencil is just what I need to wake up my tired eyes!
Hey Kate! I’ll definitely have to check this out, I think I could use this for my eyes!
A hot shower and exfoliation – aspirin mask or buf puf. Then a touch of MAC’s strobe cream – never fails!
Oh, I agree. A nice hot shower is a great wake-up call.
Yes…I LOVE MAC’s Strobe Cream too for a fresh glowing face!!!
I used to love Strobe Cream!
I’m on board with Zsofi. A decent amount of sleep makes me look infinitely cuter in the a.m.
Definitely true. Ugh, I hate it when you miss sleep and you look all dragged through the mud.
Fresh water and my caudalie beauty elixir.
I will look into this Beauty Elixir!
I splash my face with cold water to wake me up. Also, curled eyelashes and some mascara! =]
Ohh, brrr!! I have to do it with hot water, I can’t handle that much cold first thing!
