I love cream blushes for the winter time, and then gel blushes for warmer months. They build really well, and have a more natural looking color, and are a good base for powder to make the color last all day. Nars makes really great cream blushes and a little bit really goes a long way. My favorite is Cactus Flower. It looks bright coral in the compact, but goes nice and sheer. I like Stila as well, and Benefit has some really nice ones lately.

if i want to do a fresh spring makeup look,i use my old Clinique cream blush. i bought it many yeras ago,b/c Jamie King wore it on a Cosmo cover.
i think cream blushes are more natural sometimes than powder,and it gets into the skin more.
it need very careful blending,and if someone uses too much,she ends up looking like a clown
generally i like all blushes.

I’ve heard that the 188 is the best brush to use for creme blushes, actually. I think it’s time to do some trial and error with creme blushes!

My favorite is Sweet William. I use the 188 and just kind of dab & swirl in a circular motion on my apples. You can build the coverage by applying a few layers, but I usually just use one layer. It gives a nice subtle pink glow to my cheeks, kind of dewey, by itself. Or provides a great base for any Powder Blush. The staying power I find is fantastic compared to the Powder Blushes alone. I find that my cheeks do not hold the Powder Blushes for more than a couple of hours. With a cremeblush, my cheeks stay rosey nearly all day. At least through a 9 hour work day HTH!
