What designer would you like to see collaborate with MAC? What kind of collaboration do you see happening? What might it look like?

    Love this question! My personal style is way less girly/sexy/pink than, say, Barbie, Fafi and especially Heatherette. I was psyched for the McQueen collection, but it was pretty narrow in terms of colors and products available.

    I guess I’d say Comme des Garcons/Junya Watanabe or Duro Olowu. Olowu’s clothes have amazing colors and prints, but are also elegant. Ah, I aspire to look that good…off-beat and eccentric, but also very pulled-together.

    I’d love to see a collection that featured more creamy (yay paint pots) and multi-use products. CCBs are awesome and it seems MAC never makes special CCB colors! It’s time! Also, no glitter allowed! :D

    I’d love a Juicy Couture collection!!!! I know Heatherette is pretty girly and fun but we arent getting that in the UK and I am gutted LOL

    for mac, maybe betsey johnson or gwen stefani’s lamb collection. a bit of funky and classy.

    omg i had a great idea last night HELLO KITTY for mac would be amazing. and I love Gwen Stefani so maybe Harajuku Lovers or L.A.M.B.

    The first that came to my mind is McQueen, but they already did, and was not that *wow*. Maybe JPG or some other funky brands.

    Vivienne Westwood – anyone who visits Buckingham Palace to collect an award while wearing silver horns should be able to come up with something pretty interesting for MAC ;)

    Seriously though, I love her use of things old and new to come up with some brilliant designs. Her use of color and texture is amazing.

    I think Betsey Johnson would be great! Lots of bold black/shimmer/gold/red…
    Marc Jacobs could be a really classy line…

    Versace, i love their prints on their products like the scarfs, their graphcis or prints on versace furniture!! wow i think the MAC packaging will be awesome hehe

    Oh! I would love to see a collaboration with Alchemy Gothic. The colours I see are flashes of ruby red, emerald green, turquoise blue and dark purple with black and grey eyes. They’d also bring back Feline, only formulated so that it didn’t smudge so easily. I also dream of a pewter MAC necklace designed by AG. (sighs dreamily)

    Hello Kitty would be absolutely adorable. I’d also like to see a real collaboration with Disney (not just a few lip products). Something with villains and princesses maybe…I dunno. As far as real designers go I’d love to see something with Anna Sui. I adore her perfumes already. Random thought: I think a collaboration with Tim Gunn (I’m Project Runway obsessed!) would be cool and probably really classy.

    I would adore if TokiDoki did a collaboration with MAC! I can just imagine the packaging, it’d be too adorable not to buy! =) I would predict that the colors be really fun and bright; golds, reds, turquoise…

    my first thought was betsey johnson too, seems like the perfect pairing since she a lot of her designs are classic retro-style, but she also uses really great, vivid colors. hello kitty would be adorable, but i can’t really imagine what colors would come out of that. and LAMB would amazing, they could screen the white logo on black cases, omg – i would buy it all! :)

    Cavalli! I can imagine the animal print powders already.. zebra for a shimmery highlight, and leopard for bronzing. oooh and a velvety black with midnight blue flecks eyeshadow. I shall call that one Panther. heheh.

    I doubt LAMB would collab with MAC. Since Stefani already has her own perfume line, I bet she would just start making her own cosmetics first. But you never know…

    I think LAMB would be great too! Also, I feel that they should re-collaborate with Playboy. They only had a lipstick and cheek set a while back and I feel that since Playboy has grown even more, they could extend the line and do a Holly’s line, etc. I’m not so much in little kid stuff like Hello Kitty…but it would be interesting. Maybe like a british/Burberry theme…Jessica Alba, Beyonce….other celebrities that love the brand. There are endless possibilities.
