    - Bad points: Constant dehydratation. Sensitive / reactive. Dry patches. Rosacea on the nostrils. Eczema.
    - Good points: smooth in general. zero pimples, no acne, even pigmentation.

Not a skin to be jealous about!

  2. randi says:

Acne- Totally getting breakouts since getting off birth control
Rosacea on nostrils and broken capillaries on my cheeks, ew.
And I’m scared to age, I have no visible signs yet though, only 20.

I used to have perfect skin, people always complimented me on it. In the past two years it has gone all down hill :(

    • Nicole says:

have u tried to get a facial, I know that they can be a little Pricey but my face was getting very bad at one point as well and it really helped me out..make sure ur using the right C,T and M that can also clog your pores and make sure u clean ur face twice a day , I did find that helps as well

      • randi says:

oh yeah i haven’t gotten a facial but that something i am definitely going to look into, and probably need a better regime :/

  3. miss anna says:

my skin is so dry.. i’ll always have moisturizer near me & need skincare products that’s moisturizing.. but other than that, i have clear & good skin.

  4. Roxanne says:

Pimples, some oiliness and red spots. My skin isn’t clear AT ALL and it’s also quite pale. *ugh*

  5. jess says:

I have really bad break outs (and they’ve gotten worse as I’ve gotten older – NOT better) and a lot of redness. I also have really sensitive skin.

That being said, I’m often told my skin in general is very soft.

  6. Suzanne says:

An oily and blackhead-infused nose. I’m so sick of the blackheads, I can’t seem to get rid of them. I’ve tried SO MUCH.

  7. badfish says:

I get very dry patches on my skin which creates difficulty when applying foundation. I tried so many creams. I recently found a hydrating mask from Paula’s Choice that works. My skin needs emollients prior to applying make-up. What a difference. (although I don’t use it often enough, because it is a mask I find I don’t always think to put it on)

My other complaint about my skin is that I have very pale skin with pink undertones. I find it very difficult to create a balanced appearance on my skin. So jealous of the olive and dark skin toned people out there!

    • DJ says:

have you tried prescriptives foundations? (my skin has about 5 different colours in it, foundation is a nightmare)

  8. Stefanie Anja says:

Bad points: seriously dry skin, dark circles
Good points: No zits (well, my skin is so dry nothing grows there, haha), hardly any redness, even skintone.

  9. samaya says:

    hyper pigmentation..uneven skin tone…dry patches n dark circle….now don’t i look horrible…:)

  10. inuchan says:

bad: hmm dark circles under the eyes, and skin a tad sensitive…
good: fair skin, which i like, no pimples

  11. Miri says:

Horrible combination skin. Super oily on the T-zone, dry on cheeks. I also have dark circles and getting wrinkles in the eye area.

  12. raquel says:

    ahh…. where to begin!?
hyper-pigmentation: two sun spots that simply won’t leave! tried almost everything and I use spf 55 daily.
redness: self-explanatory. on my left cheeck mostly (bizarre).
a pimple here and there: no comments.
T zone: this is a new one. I’ve always had normal to dry skin and now… I have an oily T zone! Not cool.
las tbut not least, under eye circles: lack of sleep, not eating my vitmains, oh and tons of stress, yeah.
mantra: i love my skin, i love my skin, i love my skin… (haha)

  13. Shereen says:

Acne and oily T zone. My skin never really clears up. It’s really annoying.

  14. gio says:

oily t-zone, redness on cheeks and dark circles.

  15. DJ says:

    redness (nose, cheeks, chin)

starting to wrinkle (lucky only starting now, at 36–but it sucks)

texture (my skin seems sluggish at the moment, under the skin bumps etc my skin hates summer!)

    sensitivity generally

  16. Miss_M says:

I get clogged pores very easily, so I have to avoid moisturizers that are too rich and products that contain cocoabutter, sheabutter and jojoba oil. I also have a slight case of broken capillaries on my nostrils and cheeks so when it’s hot outside I always look like a tomato, no matter how much make-up I put on.

  17. Lily says:

Definitely acne! I have acne for 3 years now… I’m taking acne meds right now so hopefully that’ll help.

and also have an oily nose!

  18. Kajsa says:

Redness and acne. Just ordered a green primer from Bodyography to see if it works or not.

  19. Ali says:

My acne isn’t the worst, but it can get pretty bad. I also get dark circles under my eyes, but Benefit’s Erase Paste is a godsend for that!

  20. Nicole says:

as I got older my skin started to look better, I have ance skin and for once in my life it’s under control, I do have PIH on my chin from school when practing so much on each other but other then that I can’t complain to much, my skin ton is red but I use a serum to control that and C,T, M every day, I have also be drinking alot more white tea which is said to clear up the skin and I havent’ been gettin any breaks out so thats great..plus I try to get a facial every 6wks

  21. Jessica says:

Uneven skin tone, and blackheads that NEVER GO AWAY ugh. I’ve tried pretty much everything I’ve come across and nothing seems to help.

  22. Cassykins says:

My pores. They’re like these voids of doom. I can see them even when I’m not close to the mirror. Strangely, though, my skin is not really oily. It’s, in fact, sort of combination on the dry end. I exfoliate and tone and moisturize and my skin seems healthy and happy otherwise (ok I get the occasional break out, but the clogged pores on my forehead are pretty much gone!) Those pores are just awful, though…

  23. Cat says:

major skin concerns is how to keep my oily skin under wraps. I use a primer but it still gets slick. Also signs of aging, I make sure I put extra moisturizer by eye area (crows feet) and my laugh lines.

  24. Nicole13 says:

Good pts.: no redness, even complexion (which is usually an issue w/AA skin), oily(it’s not a totally bad point to me because the means I’ll have youthful skin longer), no dark circles, my breakouts go away quickly, no signs of aging.

bad pts: oily skin, occassional breakouts, medium pores luckily I have to be crazy close to see them

  25. Melody says:

Acne, acne scars, large pores, super oily skin (i’m still looking for my HG foundation!)

  26. Rosie says:

Acne, oily skin, huge pores on my cheeks. Oh I see above acne scars too.

  27. SarahT says:

Super sensitive skin, patches of dryness, redness, dark circles under eyes, super oily T zone (and eyelids, ew!), uneven texture (bumps that don’t seem like acne). Aren’t I a pretty picture? lol

  28. Veronica says:

Acne, Acne scars, dry skin, peeling/flakiness, redness, uneven skin tone. :/ It all really sucks!!

  29. Kitson says:

I worry a lot about my skin. Mostly, acne, sun damage(freckles), and aging.

  30. Jadelyn says:

Oiliness from HELL. I use mattifying moisturizer, mattifying foundation, matte mineral finishing powder, and by evening I STILL could light a city from the sun’s reflection on my skin. The best I can do is perpetually blot throughout the day. Sigh. I need a new compact of my MAC anti-oil powder. My old one got lost in the move, and I miss it still.

Other than that, I get the odd pimple but not often, and my skin tone is fairly even.

Wish I could figure out what my undertones are. I have NEVER figured out how to do that.

    • Christine says:

Look at the inside of your forearm. If the veins are green, you have warm undertones. If they’re blue, you have cool undertones. If you can’t tell, you have more neutral undertones (neither cool nor warm). Another trick is figuring out what colors seem to look best on you — warmer shades like golds? Cooler shades like purple or blue?

  31. tehreem says:

AHHHHHHHH…..Acne..I use to have really bad acne when I was 13 and then my skin cleared up like 4 years back and then the occasional pimples started. Now they are near my side burn area and my jawline. They are kinda going away but soon they will be on my cheek or something.THey dont go away completely. I have a bad habit of picking them at times….and that doesnt help!!! Also my skin is dull…maybe something having to do with my lack of water in take. Occasional blackheads…Enlarged pores..on my cheeks near my nose…AHhhh i want perfect skinn..

  32. Andrea says:

Um everyone tells me I have perfect skin but I get some breakouts sometimes. But the nly problem with my skin is my oilyness! But I guess it’s all worth it when I start aging. haha

  33. Melissa says:

BAD: Acne, Oily skin, Larger than normal pores, Acne scars
GOOD: Besides the acne scars, even skintone

    Thank GOD for make-up!! ( :

  34. Sass says:

I worry about acne…since the summer came in it’s been break out city for me. And these breakouts are leaving serious blemishes. I’ve never suffered from Acne before so I’m in total shock. I’m just hoping that after the summer is over I’ll get back to normal or am I 31 years old and menopausing! OMG. I am not happy right now. I’d love to age gracefully, not age w/ blemishes and dark circles. Ugly. :(

  35. Christy says:

Acne, dark under eye circles, inevitable sagging skin and blackheads. I know that when I get older that I will have sagging skin, since my Mom, Grandma, and many aunts all have sagging skin above their eyelids. Which is why now I play a lot with makeup because I probably won’t be able to use a lot of eye makeup in 30-40 years. Am stressed, so acne on my chin keeps creeping up every few weeks.

  36. Heather says:

    Redness

  37. Janelle says:

Acne constantly on my chin. And only on my chin! :(

  38. Meagan says:

Oily T Zone, blackheads on my nose (I’m usually ok but it gets really bad sometimes), and I scar easily :( I’ve been using DDF Brightening Cleanser to try and help out the situation.

  39. Ceci says:

Same issues as you, Christine. Acne, dry patches (I have mild eczema), and hyper-pigmentation from acne scars/sun exposure.

  40. Marlena says:

All the joyous things that accompany acne – scarring and pockmarks, oiliness, redness/discoloration…. you name it

  41. Sara says:

oliy nose, face full of i forgot the name (millia? – some type of clearish-white spot) and my nose full of white heads and black heads.

  42. Mama Laura says:

    Oil would be my issue.

Controlling it and disguising the appearance.

  43. Dory says:

Ugh…. uneven skintone, acne, blackheads, dry patches of skin and scars from old acne. Have tried facials, high-price products (Clinique, Philosophy, LUSH, Bliss), drugstore products (Burt’s Bees, Olay, Loreal, Neutrogena, Queen Helena’s, Dove, Nivea, etc), Salicylic acid, Witch Hazel but nothing works. =(

  44. muffingrl says:

    THE GOOD:
    - clear skin
    - relatively even pigmentation
    - “tough” (rarely gets irritated by product)
    - no wrinkles/major blemishes/scars
    - firm

    THE BAD:
    - redness around nose
    - super dark eye circles
    - moderately oily
    - very, very pale yellow

  45. Jess says:

    Good:
My skin is usually clear and I have good texture. (cept for a small chicken pocks scar and another half inch long scar on my cheek that makes wearing blush look interesting)

    Bad:
    - Combination skin. Mildly oily t-zone, visible pores on nose and some dry places.
    - Daarrkkk circles around my eyes
    - Having pretty sensative skin. It was quite a mission to find a HG facial cleanser that wasn’t too harsh for my skin, but me and Cetaphil have been going steady for a while and I’m quite happy.

    * Dry skinned ladies usually get wrinkles sooner than oily skinned ladies, so its not so bad to be oily in the long run, I guess.

  46. Gretchen says:

Points for Concern: Lots of redness on my cheeks and nostrils from sunbathing without sunscreen when I was little, lots of tiny bumps and occassional small pimples, gigantic pores, tends to be dry.
Good Points: I never get blackheads, and it only takes a bit of warm water and a bath glove to clear up my skin in the morning from oil and dead skincells, no real process needed except for moisturizing. I have 0 problems with products, so I can use Blacktrack on my water and tightline and it stays on forever, and does nothing whatsoever to irritate my eyes (I suppose I have eyes of steel – no matter what gets in them, nothing can bother them!)

  47. ashley says:

    Oooh can someone say spam?
I am pretty sure this comment and the one below are spam (giveaways are the name being “cosmetics” and the comments left not having anything to do with the question at hand)
    DELETE! DELETE!

Eek, sorry. Who’s always on spam patrol? Guilty!

    Anyways, my issues right now:

    1) Blackheads and whiteheads. I get mostly blackheads on my nose, and they ALWAYS come back every morning or every other morning. My nose gets so oily too, it’s gross. And then I get whitehead-esque things on my chin (that little indent area) which are super annoying.
    2) Oiliness AND dryness. My skin can be both oily and dry at the same time. Which can feel really awkward.
    3) Occasional acne. Thankfully, birth control helps with my acne a lot. I so hope that once I eventually get off of it that my skin doesn’t wreak havoc. I also haven’t cleansed in about a month (LOL I know, gross) because LUSH is too far away for me to easily get there on my own, unless I am up for a 40 some minute bus ride, and waiting more time for each bus. I hopefully will be going soon – anyone tried Dark Angels yet?
    4) Bad skin texture. My skin used to be so soft when I was in the 8th grade. Right now it sucks. Probably because I haven’t been taking good care about it. Ugh. So much effort.

I pretty much don’t mind my insane redness, since nothing ever makes it better.
