i luv the l’oreal hip jelly balms. they smell soooooooo good. i also luv the maybelline dream mouusse products

  2. Porcelain says:

I agree with Emma – Maybelline Dream Mousse foundation has been a staple in my foundation box since it came out. I also use a lot of Barry M Dazzle Dusts.

  3. Chica says:

Maybelline Define-a-Lash legthening mascara (the green one) is amazing.
I love Boots No7 longwear eyeshadows, Boots 17 lipsticks and powder blusher, Maybelline lipstick, L’oreal lipstick, Maxfactor Masterpiece mascara and everything by GOSH cosmetics – their foundation and brushes are fantastic quality.

    • Porcelain says:

And I forgot Maxfactor’s Masterpiece – although I usually go for Masterpiece Max. In my mind, it performs as well as more expensive brands, at a fraction of the cost!

Neutrogena acne stuff, man that stuff clears me up in no time! I just switched and they’re KEEPING me clear, I can finally try different products and if they break me out(most do), I don’t fret anymore, I got my neutrogena. Oh, I almost forgot, I loooove the Mint Julep Mask, it feels so good and refreshing and dries up pimples faster than anything I’ve tried before. It’s like DDF’s Sulfur Theurapeutic Mask but for like $2-3 instead of $30, plus it’s minty!
Seeing how the “cheap” stuff works wonders on my uber-sensitive skin almost makes me want to try their make up. Nah, wild horses couldn’t drag me away from Sephora!!!

  5. SnickerDoodle says:

I love lots of Loreal HIP stuff..the paints, pigments, and cream liners. I’m also currently using a Rimmel liquid foundation that I like, I usually buy drugstore foundation (also love Revlon Colorstay). And sometimes drugstore mascaras, right now I’m using Maybelline Colossal Volum or whatever its called…the bright yellow one. I like it.

  6. Manda says:

LOVVVVVVVVVVE MAX FACTOR VOLUME COUTURE MASCARA! IT’S AMAZING

  7. Shayla says:

Maybelline Colossal Volum’ Express mascara is my go-to…I also am really liking Nivea Cream (you know, the thick stuff). It’s super hydrating and doesn’t get my hands (or the rest of me) all greasy.

  8. victoria says:

    cetaphil cleanser
    maybelline moisture l/s and gloss
covergirl trushine l/s and mascara(orange tube)
    loreal telescopic mascara
dove soaps(i like some of their new ones)
suave shampoo(i know its cheap and drying but i have oily hair so i’m fine with that)
in home hair color(i try different ones)
i should try boots l/s next, heard many good things about them.

  9. Kellye says:

MF Volume Couture, definitely! I’ve tried tons of drugstore & higher end mascaras and have finally found my Holy Grail.

I also like the Prestige glosses. They’re the closest to the Vincent Longo ones that I adore.

  10. Vivian says:

    St.Ives lotion
    Vaseline lotion
Neutrogena skincare and makeup (had to buy it online)
Rimmel glam eyes -look like I had individual false lashes attached
L’oreal telescopic (took me a lot of practice to get it right)
    Physicians formula
NYX (?) ordered some, but hope this is good as people reviewed it
others that I could’t think of right now

  11. Alexandria says:

Since I’m just now getting into “higher end” makeup (I’m only 20), I have quite a few drugstore items.

    1. Covergirl Eye Enchancers in Golden Sunset

Sure, Covergirl eye shadows are considered inferior to other cheaper makeup lines like Milani, but this particular trio (I’m not sure about the other ones) offers get color payoff and blends well.

    2. Milani Eye Shadow Quad in Earthly Delights
    3. Milani Runway Eyes Wet/Dry Eyeshadows
    4. Milani Lipgloss in Honey Do [Yes, it is spelled, "Do"]
    5. Milani Lipgloss in Jamaican Rum
    6. Covergirl Wetslicks Fruit Spritzers in Strawberry Splash
    7. Rimmel Lyrca Lash Extender Mascara
    8. Rimmel Glam’Eyes Mascara
    9. Soap & Glory Glow Lotion
    10. Caress Exotic Oil Infusions Body Wash [best drugstore body wash]

  12. Crystal says:

Loreal Lip Jelly’s are soooo great. The only thing I dis like is having to stick my finger in the pot, but other than that they are the perfect lip gloss for sure!

I love that they come in a glass pot b/c they are easy to clean out and you can use them for loose pigments or after cutting your UDPP you can stick it in there.

  13. Sara says:

i love olay moisturizer, and im also LOVING the new revlon matte lipstick collection. if my lips werent so chapped i’d be wearing them alot more often. i also love the “steam” face wash, i cant remember the brand but i know youve reviewed it and liked it as well. burts bees is always a winner as well.

  14. farzana says:

I always use the mac but i find nyx wayyy cheaper and next best brand after mac.Its colours in eye shadows r amazing and well pigmented.Blushs r good and im not to sure bout the lipglosses.

  15. kat says:

I use some Biore products on my face and I like the burts bees lip products but otherwise I usually stick to higher end stuff…

It’s not like I believe that higher end products are just automatically better but because you can’t try stuff I’m always wary of how they will work out; plus, I don’t go to the spa or get my nails done or anything so my little treat to myself is indulging in expensive makeup.. makes me feel like a superstar every morning!

  16. Kirstin says:

I’m LOVING Cover Girl’s Lash Blast mascara. The formula doesn’t clump & it really gives volume to my lashes. I used to splurge on Diorshow, but I like this stuff much butter & it’s much less harsh on my wallet.

And I agree that anything by Burt’s Bees is wonderful.

    • kat says:

Thats so funny! My best friend SWEARS by dior and wears almost only chanel and dior, but she said she also prefers a drugstore brand to diorshow… which is fine by me cause I got 3 mascara from her now :D

  17. cloudburst says:

Maybelline Great Lash Waterproof Mascara & Chapstick.

  18. Tre says:

I’m in love love love with Nivea Creme. It works wonders on dry skin! I also love Burts Bees. And my skin is so sensitive anything by Aveeno is amazing too.

BTW, you guys tempted me to try out the L’Oreal jelly lip balms. Walgreens had a buy one get one free sale so I picked a couple up! =)

  19. lala says:

    cetaphil cleanser
    ardell brow lash
acne free 3 step (only for the #3)
    cover girl lash blast
    nyc brunette eye brow duo
    gariner skin renew daily lotion
    neutrogena balms (if not rosebud)
    sally’s hansen nail hardener
    aveeno foaming cleanser
    v05 conditioner
    st. ives apricot scrub
    XXL maybelline
I always have these products in my stash no matter WHAT!!!! lol

  20. mahalia says:

    nivea lotion. love it
    neutrogena.
    biore.
    loreal hip
i have always worn mac foundation but my first eyeshadows were drug store.
covergirl lash blast is the best mascara ever!

  21. mars says:

Queen Helene Mint Julep Masque is the best thing ever for blackheads and blemishes. Gets everything detoxed without leaving me dried out. I’ve been using it since I was 13 and it’s still only $2.99

  22. L says:

covergirl outlast smoothwear eyeliner in smoke, goes on smooth and has great staying power. I choose smoke because it’s a nice dark grey so it’s not as harsh as black for daily wear

  23. Tiarra says:

    Biore’s pore unclogging scrub.
    Garnier’s pure face cleanser.
    Maybelline’s Full N’ Soft mascara.
    Smackers lip balm!

  24. Chynna says:

Neutrogena’s Acne Stress line, Dickinson’s Witch Hazel, CG LashBlast, New York Color Slant Tweezers, and Blistex Deep Moisure Renewal balm are AMAZING!

  25. Kimberly says:

-I love the Loreal Hip loose pigments!
-All of Carmindy’s new products for Sally Hansen have been really great! The foundation goes on perfectly.
-Loreal Voluminous mascara, been using it for years.
    -Cetaphil Gentle Cleanser
-ROC Anti-Aging night cream with Retinol.

  26. Angie Smith says:

-Olay Regenerist Serum (unscented) so i can put it all over and under my eyes before my eye cream. i usually use expensive face products but heard so many good things about this, and they are all true.
-L’oreal Skin Genesis Eye Serum and the Night treatment – PHENOM
-Cover Girl Volume Exact mascara and L’oreal bare naturale mascara
    -All Carmindy’s products – AMAZING
    -Cetaphil Moisturizing Cream

I’m sure there are a TON more I’m forgetting, but these are the big ones for me!

  27. Leah says:

    HG Drugstore products:

Loreal voluminous mascara-great but a little too thick
Sally Hanson hard as nails clear- the only thing that helps my weak nails
Revlon super lustrous lipgloss- have almost every shade of this
Sinful nail polish- definitely comparable to OPI
Sinful lip gloss in Goddess- Nars orgasm dupe for $2
Loreal HIP eye shadows- who doesnt love these things?
Maybelline define-a-lash (green)- awesome length and wand
    Visine- staple item
CG single eye shadows- shimmering onyx, kind of like MAC’s black tied but more shimmer and less fall out
Oil of Olay moisturizer- great for oily skin esp with spf 15
NYC lip color in Ruby- soft red moisturizing lipstick for people who are scared of reds
Neutragena on the spot acne treatment- zits beware!
Neutragena acne stress line- gengle yet cleansing
John Freida straightening hair polish- silica based product adds volume and body without weight. I bought one and then went back to target and purchased every one they had!

Quite a long list but then again I am a beauty junkie! ;-)

  28. claudine says:

the last drugstore product i bought —> Maybellines Colossal Volum Express Mascara —> very nice Mascara + love the prize def. a cool drugstore find

  29. MOCHABLONDE says:

MY FAVORITE DRUGSTORE FINDS ARE THE LOREAL HIP EYESHADOW (POTS) AND THE NEW REVLON BEYOND NATURAL SMOOTHING PRIMER.

  30. Laura says:

Aveeno Soothing Relief Baby Cream, Covergirl eyeshadow, NYC Smooth Skin pressed powder, Chapstick.

  31. Carissa says:

Burt’s Bee’s products, especially the lip balms.

  32. sweet sin says:

    revlon colorstay foundation…hg

  33. CeeBee says:

OPI Avoplex cuticle oil (and nailpolishes – Nomads Dream is gorgeous!) is my latest find.

And some dirt cheap Chinese made eyeshadows called Quianyu – New Attractive Fashion Color I found in a local Dollar Store for $2… incredibly pigmented, high colour payoff, can be used wet or dry and stays on ALL day. I have found palettes of 12 shades for $5 and the range of colours is amazing. I have 7 Dior quints and haven’t touched them for a month!

  34. Rio says:

I really like Covergirl’s eyeshadows. I have to layer a bit more than the expensive stuff, but the colors are nice, and it’s a lot cheaper.

I like pretty much anything Aveeno makes, and I use Physician’s Formula foundation and powder. It’s the only stuff that doesn’t make me break out.

  35. monica says:

i agree with everyone who’s said that mint julep mask is the best thing since sliced bread. i put it on a pimple at night, that thing is pretty much gone when i wake up in the morning.

and the milani eyeshadows are awesome too. i was interested in trying out some purple shadows, but was afraid of going high end cause i wasn’t sure how i’d look with purple. so i wandered around in duane reade for a while…and found milani. best find in a while. pretty pigmented for a DS brand…will definetely pick up more quads from them.

lashblast is awesome, but i just bought diorshow so i’m gonna use that for a while.

anndd…the HIP creme liner is amazing. you guys keep saying their jelly balms are good, so i think i’m gonna pick one of those up and try them.

  36. Taylor says:

    Ahhh so much!

    I cannot live without:

    -L’Oreal Voluminous Carbon Black mascara
-Maybelline Mineral Power foundation and pressed powder
    -Neutrogena gloss in Whisper
    -L’Oreal Lash Architect
-Cover Girl 3-kit eyeshadow in Shimmering Sands
    -Cover Girl Invisible Concealer
    -Burt’s Bees Replenishing Lip Balm
-ELF Healthy Glow Bronzer in Sunkissed
    -Queen Helene Mint Julet mask
    -Aussie Hairspray
    -Cetaphil
    -Clean & Clear PersaGel

  37. Aurora says:

Physician’s Formula “Twins” Concealer. Liquid concealer with the green on one end and the concealer color on the other. I have to use the green so sparingly on my fair (aka radioactive white) skin but the cover is so amazing it is worth it.

  38. CeeBee says:

Hi Kimberly – as far as I know the store I got them at is called $3 & $5 Dollar Store – I know there are a couple of others around my city but they all have different names (and I’m in New Zealand too so that probably won’t help) – my aunt first spotted them in a Dollar Store in Auckland and bought them as a bit of a joke but they really are excellent and i’ve been buying them for all my friends. Cheap and totally awesome.
    Good luck!
