yay first lol..
i have studio tech for about a couple of months and i hit pan already … but i also have mineralized satin finish, yeah i’ve used it a couple of times just not my fav..
but i do wanna try studio fix fluid i feel like with mineralized satin finish i have to pack it on since i do use 187 brush to apply it and the 190 for studio tech.

lol, wow! It’s taken me like, a year or so to get through my bottle! (well, I’m almost at the end!)
I only go through 2 to 3 foundations a year.
I was blessed with pretty good skin, so I don’t need to use a lot of product on my face.
I use a pea sized drop of liquid foundation, 1 – 2 brush overs with my Studio Fix, and one coat of translucent powder and that’s it.

It’s amazing how long some staples can last us!
In the summer I just use a bit of powder for shine but in the winter I need full coverage..so I think I have bought about 3 new foundations to see what I like. I have been switching it up for so long trying to find that perfect winter coverage, and I think I have it with Select Moisture blend. And for summer I have been using my MSFN…and I bought some of the loose mineral powder just to try it out! Im a product junkie so I like to try everything once!

I have a ton of foundations, but I come back to SFF most of the time.
Don’t think i have ever reached the bottom of any foundation but that is because i am always searching for the perfect one and always end up trying different ones.
me too! I feel like I’ve been on the search for the perfect one for years and have yet to find it. I’m glad to see someone else feels my pain!

I use Studio Fix the powder and it lasts me really long! I think it lasts me about 6 months…I use it everyday with 187 brush and don’t put it on really thick.

I´ve never in my life bought foundation because I needed it, but because I wanted to try something new. I found the best yet in Studio Fix Fluid, but I´m sure there will come a day when I venture out again for a new foundation fix…

They say that you’re supposed to get new foundation every so-and-so months, but I don’t go through it that fast. I actually only use foundation maybe once a week, so it’s slow going. I have bought some new stuff lately just to try different things, like liquid and powder mineral.
I actually heard foundation has a shelf life of two years or more, if you don’t use it directly from the container!
Perhaps once a year, I do not need it because I have good skin.

I’ve yet to finish one of the same foundation. I often buy two because I leave one at my boyfriend’s house and one at mine. I like having a few basics (such as foundation, eyeliner, mascara) at his house so I always have SOME makeup there if I end up there for the night without notice.
I don’t necessarily plan out my life a whole lot, just sort of go with things.
I’m enjoying MAC MSFN in light as a quick, easy summer foundation.
I used to do that, too!! I actually forgot to bring mine one time, so I had to drag him out to get a new one (we lived 400 miles apart at the time, lol, so I couldn’t just run back to my house to get it).
I think I get one to two bottles per year. I don’t use a lot at a time, so if I get a second bottle it’s usually because I want to try something new!
Not bad! I find one bottle of SFF lasts me at least a year!
When the seasons change.My derm told me you suppose to changed foundation at least 6 months so thats about 2 times a year.But as the seasons change, so does my skin.

I seem to get through a bottle of liquid foundation every 5-6 months. Right now I have one that I bought around Christmas and it’s almost empty.
That’s not bad at all, Carrie! I think the fastest I get through mine is maybe 8 months, but I generally go makeup free or use new products that it’ll stretch out for a year.
I don’t really use foundation. The last one I bought was studio moisture spf 15, and i still have it… from last spring, I think? I should probably throw it away, it’s probably a petrie dish by now- but I just can’t bear to waste it, it still looks fine on. I have a freckly skintone so I feel like all over foundation is a really fake idea on me, so usually I will just do Select Cover under my eyes and on any redness and top it with Studio Fix powder. Select cover lasts me a very, very long time.
If you’ve used it directly, then it could be, but otherwise foundation is meant to last awhile!

I am now using MAC’s Mineral Foundation and I love it. I bought MAC powder jars so I could get it out of there horrid container and it makes it easy to use but it does last all day and is light which is perfect for the summer!

Oh this is a good one! I NEVER hit the pan for any foundation I use because I’m still on the neverending, almost impossible search of the perfect one. That’s cos I think with the correct color foundation, everything just goes on even better!

Whenever mine runs out really, I don’t use my studiofix very often but I aim to replace it about 2x a year, or whenever I remember. I tend to use my MSF natural more which needs replacing about 2/3 times a year

I always buy foundation. That’s one of my favorite MU to buy. I’m always searching for the perfect one even if I’m happy with the ones I have.

I use Bare Escentuals, so I use a container up about every 4 months. Which is more than I ever have in my life. But that’s probably because I rarely wore foundation before BE, and when I did, I hadn’t hardly ever used a whole bottle of anything.
Four months, that’s not TOO fast. Faster than I’d like to buy a staple over and over again, but still manageable.
not very often because i sometimes will just use the mac studio fix or the studio tech but if i’m going out i’ll wear them both. so i buy foundation maybe twice a year i think.

I wear MAC Studio Fix Fluid in NC 20 during winter and Select SPF 15 in NC 25 during summer.
I buy one for every season.
I usually have to wear a darker shade for the summer myself!
I was replacing my Kanebo Total Finish powder foundation 3-4 times a year. I can never get away with not wearing foundation.

I replace my liquid foundations about 3 times a year ( a shade or two darker during the summer) Put my Studio Fix Powder never seems to last very long because it tends to crumple before i even see silver! LOL Buuttt I still buy it
…. I kept my last one its the original box and it seems to be working out much better! Im at silver & its still in one piece.
Oh my favs are Mac Studio fix press & fluid & i also like Lancome’s photogenic during the summer because its a little lighter with still the same coverage

I usually go through a new compact or bottle every 1-2 years. I used the studio fix powder for like…2 years wow. and now I use the studio fix fluid since december, its halfway gone. I always keep a back up just im case haha. I use to use pur minerals 4-1 pressed powder the 30 day sample lasted me more than a year.
