i love to share all the tips i know…i feel immensly happy and satisfied when someone benefits from it. At tyms i have ended up giving some good makeup to my friends n family coz it looked very good on them n they were soo happy….they don’t live in USA…:)
Even you share soo much tips wth us…through this blog…u sure must be knowing the feeling…:)

I love to share all my tips also, but I usually only do it when someone asks me. I love to wear very bright and lots of eyeshadow, so people will compliment me, then ask how I get it to stay on, how to blend, what do I use, etc. :-) It’s such a nice feeling! Plus I’m a teacher, so that’s what I love to do – teach others!!!

  Hey, Heather! I was just wondering this morning how many teachers are makeup addicts like myself and here you are! I love to teach others and find it very easy to go into detail about what I do and even model for friends and family…lol.     Hi Chloe! Love your name btw – it’s what I want to name my future daughter (provided I ever have one) :-) I’m a middle school math teacher and I love it! It’s so cool to meet another teacher/makeup addict!! I got hired by MAC as a freelance artist because of my teaching skills – I’ll tell that girl in the chair every little detail about how to apply, which brush and why, what colors, contouring, what’s good and not, on and on and on! So I’m like you – love to share my beauty “knowledge” and teach friends and family.

I don’t mind sharing them with complete strangers online, so long as it’s nto with people i’m face to face with everyday. I’m very, very often copied, in very creepy, stalker ways (sorry about lack of modesty there, but it really annoys me – when i’m copied). I like to be helpful, I just don’t like how a few close people can get a little creepy.

  I agree, same for me. If friends have questions or need help here and there, sure I don’t mind helping. But someone I know wanted to know my entire beauty routine from start to finish and wanted to buy my foundation color without first even seeing if it was the right color for her too, that’s when I draw the line! Be creative and unique!

i don’t often tell people my beauty tricks, they might think i was being rude! i’m not going to tell my friend with dark circles the wonders of touche eclat and lush eye cream, lol. if someone asks me i’m happy to share though.

I love sharing them, only sometimes I wonder if I’m sounding preachy just because a lot of my friends don’t know that much about things so I’m always enthusiastic to pass on the tips I wish someone had told me when I started out.

I try to share what I know with others if they ask. I too like to go into detail when I share though lol. I always feel it’s better to spread the knowledge because when I first started wearing makeup and then getting a chance to work for a cosmetics line, I was really clueless. I had wished that someone was there to teach me.

I usually share. I have a friend who is just starting out and I’ve given her a simple neutral eyeshadow pallet to try out and tips. I really can’t wait to get her more…. Quite a few of my friends ask me and I seem to inspire them, even though I don’t wear a lot of make up most days. I also give lots of tips for nail polish, as I love nail polish!

I love dishing about beauty secrets and quirks. Sometimes you can come up with the best combination of colors or effects that way. Experimentation and diversity is what I feel beauty is about anyway!

Yes, I share – mostly with my BFF and maybe two or three other close friends. My boyfriend has 4 sisters so every time I do a clean out of stuff I don’t use, they get offered a bunch of product – none of them are really into makeup though :-(.
His mother loves the fact that every now and then I buy her stuff I think she’d like. I got her a fabulous green and gold eyeshadow quartet last month – and black nail polish last weekend which she was absolutely thrilled with – she’s a bit of a rebel on the inside I think ;-)

I’ve bought my BFF 24 eyeshadows (2 palettes of 12 colours each), an awesome metallic blue nail polish and 3 blushers in the last week!
She regards me as the Ultimate Source of All Makeup! :-)

You know what and you probably gonna think wrong of me but NO not anymore. Ive gave out countless beauty tips on Youtube ( sent Private messages and all) , trying to be nice but when they turn around and FAKE the funk like it was their idea it really turns me off. And I still need to check myself cause I STILL see me trying to help ppl who are not worth my time but hey it shows I really do care, I guess. This is the thing, I only have a few IRL friends and family members who are into beauty/makeup. I’m actually a very low maintenance chick myself, but I remain in the loop regarding beauty. I LOVE sharing because I don’t normally get a chance to do so, plus I’m cheap, and I love to give people alternatives to really pricey things, or to suggest stuff that works better than their current choices.
