I’m studying for the GREs :(, my test is tomorrow…but my sister nabbed some awesome Banana sweaters and a few MAC eyeshadows and a Technakohl liner for me :).

UGH no way am I going anywhere near anything that even looks like a store :) I think we might drive down to the American River and go for a nice long hike. Watch a couple movies and just have an amazingly lazy day. Did all the post holiday cleaning yesterday so today really is left with nothing to do. I might get started on some crafty projects, I need to sew the last pair of PJ pants for Xmas gifts.

wow your plan seems relaxing :). I never would have thought to go for a hike on Thanksgiving, but I just may take your suggestion next year!
The GRE stands for Graduate Record Examination which is required by most schools for admission to graduate school. I reasoned that I could sacrifice one Black Friday for this test :)..plus I’ll save some money haha! Enjoy the test of your holiday!

I didn’t think I was going to, but I actually woke up at 8:30 and headed out to the mall. The discounts weren’t great so we ventured out to Best Buy.. now THAT was a zoo with lines and a bazillion people! I managed to walk out with a replacement for my camera that I had lost a couple weeks ago – YAY!

I stayed away from the shops today – I went on Wednesday night after my last crazy day of work before the holidays. As a “reward” for being so busy at work and getting everything done, I got a couple of the new Metal-x shadows (Pure Ore and Fusion Gold), Sweet Sienna pigment and Pearl CCB. I took my time and swatched practically everything, it was really fun and relaxing.
And it turns out that Pearl CCB is the face highlighter I wish I’d had all along! Perfect amount of shimmer for me. I love “discovering” products!
