Hey Temptalia readers!

Each season, Temptalia chooses to put out a few different “guides”, which are created around a certain theme and then we play and test several products that fit the theme, review, and let you know what we think (and what we love or hate).

For Spring, here’s what you can expect from us:

  • Winter Skin Prevention and Repair – featuring heavy face/body creams (as well as spot treatments), cracked lips, etc. — nobody likes dry skin, and we don’t think anyone should have to put up with it, we know there are some great preventive techniques as well as repairing products out there for our readers! Unfortunately, not everyone has California weather and suffers winter skin into the first half of spring!
  • Run Ragged & Still Gorgeous – featuring concealers of all sorts, eye de-puffer products, eye rejuvenating products, relaxing products; we are focusing on busy women who live hectic lives whether they’re up to 4am with a new baby or until 2am writing their interrogatories for court–we want to find products and ideas to keep them looking their best even if they’ve missed a few hours of sleep or are full of stress.
  • Stains You Don’t Want Out – featuring lip and cheek stains and tints—balms, lipsticks, glosses, you name it—it’ll be covered. Also, we would love to include a few longwearing lip colors as well. Many of us have men-folk we want to kiss and love, but sticky gloss and bright red lips just do not go over so well with them.

Now, this is where you come in! Do you have any concerns for the spring or summer season (yes, we’re thinking about summer ideas already!)? For summer, we are definitely planning to bring you guides to suncare, waterproof makeup, and self-tanners, but how else can we help you?

In case you missed Winter’s guides, we worked on bringing you a Myriad of Mascaras, Fabulous Facial Moisturizers, and Must-have Makeup Removers–plus, a series of holiday gift guides!

I think it would be spiffy to have an article on how to choose blushes that match with your eyeshadow/lip color.

make-up that wears well for summer outdoor activities and also summer make-up that is sweat proof. Thank you and look forward to the guides :)

Noted, Tanya :) Definitely going to be doing a waterproofing type kind… or stuff you can wear throughout the day, no matter the activity!

Great ideas, I especially look forward the Winter Skin Prevention & Repair, because I’ve unfortunately been unblessed with dry skin year around, even though I live in CA! The gals above me have great ideas as well.

I know this isn’t EXACTLY make-up related, but it is beauty related. You could try doing a piece on how vitamins, nutrients & lifestyle affect your skin, including natural recommendations for making it better. Just a thought :)

Oh, how awful, Ariele! I’m just experiencing my first winter dry-out EVER! And I hate it!

I will think about the vitamin/nutrient idea, though I have to do a lot of research on it! Maybe I’ll ask my dad (he’s a vitamin buff). Thanks!

I would love to see a guide on doing a quick, natural-looking everyday makeup routine that is good for summer. I don’t like wearing foundation during the summer because I feel like it melts off. So maybe covering some alternatives to wearing foundation would also be cool.

Thanks Shefali! I’ll definitely be giving some advice on how to use makeup that doesn’t melt off!
