I love Neutrogena Ultra-Sheer Dry Touch Sunblock. It's light weight, never greasy and has a nice smell! Also it doesn't give me pasty-face :)
For serious sunscreen, I'm using Coppertone Continuous spray on... cuz I hate the greasy feeling of lotion sunscreens!
For daily use I love Mary Kay TimeWise® Day Solution Sunscreen SPF 25*. For the beach i love Coppertone Kids Continuous Spray Sunscreen Spf 50.
Shiseido SPF 55 is amazing! That's my favorite. If I need a really matte look, Cosmedicine's Medi-Matte with SPF 20 is perfect, but I wish it came with a little more protection. I'm looking forward to trying MAC's Prep and Prime + SPF 50 sometime too.
I'm in love with Shiseido Extra Smooth Sun Protection Cream. This is the first sunscreen that hasn't left with me greasy skin. The only problem with is that I have to avoid getting the cream too close to my eyes.
I use Coppertone Sport 15, doesn't smell funny and is reasonably priced, and I absoulutely love AloeGator spf 15 chapstick, it smells great and works!
I have to agree with some of the ladies here about the Shiseido-ultimate sun protection lotion for face/body spf 55 PA+++ as well. I really like this sunscreen. It smoothes my makeup application and it is water-resistant. What a great combo. Btw, it does not leave the white cast at all. It is a steal.
I use the Hawaiian Tropic SPF 45 sun lotion for body because it smells like coconut more than smelling like sunblock... for my face, I use my foundation... Clinique's Almost Make-Up SPF 15 Liquid Foundation. Though I need to find a good face sunblock.
My favorite sunscreen for my face is Shiseido SPF 55 lotion. I've tried others but this works best for me.
My favorite sunscreen for my face is Neutrogena because it doesn't make my face feel too oily. For the rest of my body I just use Coppertone.
For my body: Aveeno Continuous Protection Sunblock SPF45, for my face: Neutrogena Healthy Defense SPF45 daily & Neutrogena Ultra Sheer SPF45 or higher if I'm going to be outside for awhile!
I don't have a current favorite. I was liking my Neutrogena SPF 30 lotion, but after a few months it separated and got all icky. I need a new facial sunblock!
My fav is Water Babies by Coppertone SPF 50. I have tried so many expensive ones and this is the only one I have used that stays on and hasn't let me burn!
I used to tan in the beds for years.. 80's and 90s'. OMG why did I do that? Now I'm a Sunscreen freak. I've done my peels, retin-A and if you don't sunscreen up.. you are REALLY toast! Right now I use Neutrogena's SPF moisturizer for my face. I don't go out without it! On my body.. I love Coppertone anything. I buy it for the smell. Waterbabies, spf 50 etc. I've got several. mmmmm
Shiseido Ultimate Sun Protection Cream for Face SPF 55 PA+++ is what I use when I am not using Shiseido's Sun Protection Liquid Foundation Very Water Resistant SPF 42 PA+++. Boy that was long LOL!
Neutrogena SPF 55 with Helioplex and Aveeno Positively Radiant SPF 30--just depends on what I'm doing that day and what I happen to grab :)
I really like to protect my skin with Neutrogena Ultra Sheer Dry-Touch, it's really soft, its absorved quickly and is not oily.. makes me feel protected! I have a question though.. I always go for higher protection, but a few days ago I read an article saying that over 30 SPF there is no real difference between products... I don't really believe it but I'm not an expert.
I really like the Neutrogina 85 spf for my face! I always get burned with anything else. This goes on clean and nice and really protects my skin. It's lasted a long time too, maybe because I let the rest of my skin bask in the sun, but the 85 ALWAYS goes on my face! :)
I use natural sunscreen since I can't use anything containing perfume. The health food store has a good selection :) I also like Neutrogena Dry Touch, but it is scented :(
My fav suntan lotion is the spray kind! I know, I'm totally lazy! But then, I don't spend much time out in the sun! LOL!! :D
Right now I use Ultrasun SPF17. It is my favorite at the moment because I oly have to apply it once a day, it's waterproof and it also gives a lovely glow to my skin. Never got sunburned using this!!
A discontinued (doesn't it figure...) L'Óreal one. Smelled great and had quite an inventive anti-sand-clogging-up-the-opening top. Oh, and did the job protecting from the sun, lol.
I really like Coppertone's Oil Free waterproof sunscreen with SPF 15. It doesn't make my acne prone skin breakout and it gives me the right amount of protection, since I tend not to burn.
My favorite sunscreen is Prep and Prime SPF 50. My face is very sensitive so I have to make sure it's covered! :P butifuldzastr@yahoo.com
I'm loving Oil of Olay Complete Defense Daily Moisturizer...it's great for my sensitive skin and it has SPF 30!...Love it!
OOHHH I love Obagi SPF 35 healthy skin protection...it's 9% micronized ainc oxide to protect against all spectrum UVA & UVB rays. Its so lightweight and unscented!
My favorite sunscreen is Bullfrog SPF 36 (yeah, weird number i know). i bought it in Bermuda (for over twice the price of what it's worth, stupid island prices!!), but it is AMAZING!! totally waterproof, very little scent and not sticky at all. And, it doesn't clog my pores, so i can use it all over (instead of one for body and one for face).
Hey Christine! I don't tend to burn easily but I do always wear sunscreen at least on my face when I'm outside. I always use Neutrogena Ultra Sheer Dry-Touch Sunblock SPF 55. It's cheap and has lasted me forever and doesn't make my face super oily even though it has a nice shiny glow to it after I put it on! :)
I've been using No Ad SPF 50. I use anything with a 50 spf, because I'm so white. :) And some sunscreens burn my skin, but this seems to do okay, unless I wear it all day, then my face kind of hurts....lol...
I like sunscreen made for babies. Or at least, ones that say, "So safe you could even use it on a baby." Why? Because I'm allergic to most fragrances. Often, products will say "Fragrance Free" when they are SO not. When they say things about babies, then you can be pretty sure that they don't have harmful chemicals. Then, and only then, will I believe them, although I'm still wary.
I've been using the Coppertone Oil Free waterproof sunscreen with SPF 30 for years. With my acne-prone skin, it's important for me to have a product that doesn't clog pores and make me break out. This definitely fits the bill. For my face, I've been testing out the Olay Complete lotion (SPF 15) for sensitive skin.
