Tarina Tarantino Feather Dollskin Cheek Blush
Tarina Tarantino Feather Dollskin Cheek Blush
Tarina Tarantino Feather Dollskin Cheek Blush ($25.00 for 0.20 oz.) is described as “shimmering peach.” It’s a pink apricot with soft golden shimmer that becomes more of a sheen when it’s sheered out. It’s similar to a lot of coral blushes that exist; it’s a bit pinker, less orange compared to cult favorite NARS Orgasm and resembles Benefit CORALista more. It reminded me a bit of MAC Hipness, too.
The powder is very soft and finely-milled, so when you touch your brush to it, you can pick up quite a bit of color in a single go. This means it is a little powdery, though, so you may want to use a light hand when picking up color. Luckily, though the blush is fairly true-to-pan with good color payoff, it blends out easily because of the overall softness of the powder. It has more of a shimmer-sheen finish, so it doesn’t look frosty or disco ball-like on the cheeks. I had a good experience while wearing it, because it lasted eight hours without migrating or looking faded.
Where to Buy: Sephora, $25
The Glossover
I love how well this wears, and I like that it's shimmery without being frosty--more like a glowy, luminous sheen. This is a coral that should work across skin tones, because it isn't orange, even though it is still warm-toned.

Any dupes?

I think it really means something when you post two lovely pictures! This blush looks gorgeous on you, it looks so universally fllattering I might just pick this up! :)
I love it, but I am leaving it, there are simply far tooooo many dupes for this! Jane #04 Blushing Earth Sheer $3
I've been so delighted by the quality of TT's eyeshadows that I'd certainly buy her blushes the next time I'm in the market for a new blush. This colour is pink enough that I'd even consider buying it (Orgasm is too orange for me, while Coralista is pink enough that it's "okay) or I might check out her cooler toned blushes. Thanks for this review, Christine. I was telling a rep at Sephora the other day that I'd never even stopped to look at the TT products until seeing your review of the eyeshadow palette!
Whoa! That blush/highlighter combo is absolutely divine on you! I was initially turned off by TT because of the packaging but I'm totally sold on this blush, haha.

Which foundation are you wearing in this picture? I don't know if it's the blush or what but you skin looks even more amazing than usual.
Woooow! This is a gorgeous blush!! Never tried anything from Tarina Tarantino before, but this looks like a must have! Love the coral pink color and the slight shimmer, not too overwhelming =)
Christine, this really makes your face glow. When I saw it on the main page, I said "Good gawd I need this!" Seriously though, I don't need another blush. Maybe if it goes on sale LOL!
This is gorgeous, but it does remind me of Coralista! But you can never have enough coral blushes ;)
I don't know if it's the look + the earrings or what, but you look SO elegant in these photos!! :) That alone makes me want to buy this.
I've never been interested in Tarina Tarantino cosmetics, but I think I may have to pick this up. Hopefully it will work well with my NC42 skin! Thanks for the review!
Ooooh what a pretty color! And my god, if I have half of the amount of eyebrow hair you have, I'd die happy. Christine, this is just me talking crap probably, but I think it'd be really interesting to see a picture of you when you're not smiling, to see how blushes looks on a normal face, stuff like that. One of these days I hope I get to see it.
Haha, don't think you'll be seeing that - the less ugly photos of me online the better! The next thing you know, there'll be a GIF!
Pffft honey, you're so far from ugly you can't even find it in the map. And GIF can be a good thing... lol! Nevertheless, I hope I get to!
Quite awhile back she reveiwed an illamasqua intense lipgloss that was bright blue and in the picture she had a totl :| face! still she somehow managed to look gorgeous! http://www.temptalia.com/illamasqua-gender-intense-lipgloss-review-photos-swatches
Lovely!! Will def check this out next time in Sephora. Right now, I am totally in love with NARS Exhibit A, Taj Mahal and Cactus Flower. The former two were bought through your motivation. They are super lovely on my NC42 skin..! Thanks
Al I have to say is Kudos for Tarina Tarantino doing makeup right. Feather & Parasol are up my alley but I know i have something similar.
