Zoya Bobbi Nail Lacquer ($8.00 for 0.50 fl. oz.) is described as a “full-coverage, hot magenta pink foil metallic.” It’s a bright fuchsia pink with cool undertones and a foil finish. China Glaze 108 Degrees is less metallic/foil-like. China Glaze Endurance is darker, not as metallic. Essie Super Bossa Nova is bolder, brighter, and not metallic. Zoya Izzy is darker, less metallic. Zoya has such a fabulous metallic formula! Seriously, they’re so easy to apply and are very consistent overall in quality. Bobbi had opaque color coverage with two coats, and it dried down faster than the average polish and dried with a foiled sheen–some shine, but there’s a flatness to it that is just like tin foil. There were no visible brush strokes, and the consistency of the formula wasn’t too thick or too thin, so it applied fluidly and evenly without bubbling or pooling along the edges of the nail. I normally get a week of wear out of Zoya’s formula.

	Bobbi applies beautifully, has fantastic color payoff, and comes in a good formula, too. If you like metallic dark pinks, I can't imagine why Bobbi wouldn't make you look twice!

Zoya Hazel Nail Lacquer ($9.00 for 0.50 fl. oz.” is described as a “full-coverage, blue green foil metallic.” This is a silvery-blue foil metallic with flakes of dirty gold in it. I don’t have anything quite like it, and the only polish that even was reminiscent of it was Zoya Crystal with is much bluer.  I always love when I come across a color that I haven’t see done before (or, even if only done a few times).

Hazel was fully opaque in two coats of polish, and the finish was metallic and foil-like.  The consistency wasn’t too thick or too thin, and it didn’t streak, pool, or bubble during application.  It was incredibly easy to apply, and the drying time was somewhat faster than average.  All in all, this was a superb polish and really Zoya at their best.  I normally get a week of wear out of Zoya’s formula with minor tip wear but no chipping.

Zoya Liberty Nail Lacquer ($9.00 for 0.50 fl. oz.) is described as a “blue sugary sparkle” witha Pixie Dust finish. It’s a medium, lightly brightened blue with sugary sparkle and a textured, matte finish. I don’t have anything like this in my stash that I can think of, due to the textured finish. The color reminded me a bit of Zoya Phoebe, which has a matte finish, but it isn’t raised or “sugary.” China Glaze Blue Iguana has a similar blue coloring and also has larger shimmer, but it’s not as sparkly or as textured as Liberty (they are not dupes, but they’re more alike when you apply a top coat over Liberty).

Liberty was mostly opaque after two coats, and it honestly looked fully opaque to my eyes when I was photographing it, but lo and behold, it wasn’t quite.  There is some visible nail line at certain angles and when held further away.  I learned after taking my initial set of swatches that Zoya recommends three thin coats for full opacity with the Pixie Dust polishes, which I think would get you to full opaque color here.  Compared to the other shades I reviewed recently, the consistency of Liberty seemed thinner, almost watery, but it didn’t pool or slide around the nail.  It did seem to take a bit longer to dry, though.  The Pixie Dust formula wears really well; a nice seven-days of wear without chipping and very minor tip wear (whichlooks more like the sugary granules were sanded down on the edges).

Zoya Destiny Nail Lacquer ($9.00 for 0.50 fl. oz.) is described as a “coral metal sparkle” with a Pixie Dust finish. It’s a warm-toned, coral-orange with gold sparkle and shimmer with a sparkly, textured finish. It’s this finish that makes it hard to dupe (at least for the moment!), and while looking through corals for something that at least had the shimmer/sparkle factor, there wasn’t much! Zoya Myrta is all orange and less sparkly. Nubar Sun Gold is a duochrome that goes from gold to copper with a coral-hued base, so it has a similar “feel” in a way, but it’s just not enough to be a dupe. Zoya Tanzy has a lot of sparkle and glitter, but it’s more metallic, more orange, less of a coral.

I’ve found some of the Pixie Dust polishes to be mostly opaque in two, but Destiny is one that does need the three thin coats as Zoya recommends (and since they clearly state that, it’s totally fine!). It seemed rather opaque to me when I was photographing, but once I opened the photos, I was able to see a hint of visible nail line. Without a top coat, it’s textured, sparkling, and a mixture of matte and metallic. With a top coat, it looks like a shiny, sparkling coral. I like that you can get to two distinct looks out of it, and the top coat doesn’t impair the way it looks or behaves. Zoya’s Pixie Dust formula wears incredibly (and impressively) well for a full seven days with no chipping and only minor tip wear–and the tip wear is more like it dusting off at the edge, but it’s not as noticeable as normal tip wear.

Zoya Beatrix Nail Lacquer ($9.00 for 0.50 fl. oz.) is described as a “tangerine metal sparkle” with a Pixie Dust finish. It’s a warm-toned, medium-dark orange base with twinkling tangerine shimmer and sparkle that gives it a metallic, foil-like sheen, plus a textured finish overall. The closest shade I could think of, which isn’t a dupe at all, was Sinful Cloud 9, which similar coloring and shimmer, but it isn’t textured and is much more subdued. There are some other tangerine-hued polishes, but they were all creams.

With two coats, Beatrix was mostly opaque (there’s a hint of visible nail line from further away and with enough light coming through the free edge of the nail). Zoya recommends one to three thin coats, with three being used for full coverage for the Pixie Dust polishes. They also recommend waiting up to ten minutes per coat. I experienced drying time of five to seven minutes per coat, and I did thin to medium ones. Zoya’s Pixie Dust formula wears incredibly (and impressively) well for a full seven days with no chipping and only minor tip wear–and the tip wear is more like it dusting off at the edge, but it’s not as noticeable as normal tip wear. Another thing I like is that these are versatile; you can always apply a top coat and get a glossier, shinier effect if the textured look isn’t your cup of tea. It’s beautiful either way!

Zoya Solange Nail Lacquer ($9.00 for 0.50 fl. oz.) is described as a “gold metal foil sparkle.” It’s a medium yellow gold with gold shimmer/sparkle and a matte, sparkle finish. (It’s part of the PixieDust formula, which is a textured formula that mimics the look of sparkling sugar.) I don’t have any suggestions for dupes that have the same textured finish. In regards to color, China Glaze Champagne Bubbles was the closest I could think of, but obviously, the finish is quite different (and it has silver micro-glitter, so it doesn’t look the same even when you apply a top coat over Solange).

Zoya states that this is an opaque polish, and that with the PixieDust formula, it may take one to three (thin) coats to achieve full opacity and to see the effect of the textured formula. It is recommended to wait up to ten minutes for each coat to dry but once dry, it should be “long-lasting, matte, and ultra-glittery.” It was opaque for me after two coats, and the consistency wasn’t too thick or too thin, so thin coats are possible. I applied it as I would any regular polish and didn’t have trouble with the application.  If desired, you could totally apply a top coat to get a glossy finish and a smoother feel.

I’ve been wearing Solange for nearly seven days (I’m a few hours short), and I’ve had no chips and just minor tip wear. I was quite surprised, because matte polishes don’t have a great reputation for wear, but Zoya’s wore really well (and I’ve tested a few shades from the original PixieDust launch, which yielded similar results). Worth mentioning, however, is that very little chips on me (unfortunately, for testing), so hopefully those who have tried this themselves can also chime in with how it has worn in their experience!
