Urban Decay Scratch Eyeshadow
Urban Decay Scratch Eyeshadow ($18.00 for 0.05 oz.) is described as a “rose gold shimmer.” It’s a light-medium, warm-toned rosy pink with yellow undertones and a frosted finish. Urban Decay Freebird is lighter and has a golden sheen. bareMinerals Page Six is a touch lighter. MAC Rose Light is cooler-toned. MAC Da Bling is pinker. MAC Rose is darker, pinker. Tarina Tarantino Diamond Dusk #4 is more satiny in finish but close in color.
This eyeshadow had excellent color payoff–fully opaque with little product required. Scratch had a soft, buttery texture that was dense and finely-milled, but it was so soft that it was powdery–almost crumbly in a way, but incredibly fine crumbles, not large or chunky ones. I didn’t experience fall out during wear, but it’s an eyeshadow that requires some clean-up after you initially apply it, so I recommend applying it prior to laying down any base makeup. It applied with good color payoff to the lid, and it was very easy to blend out the edges. Scratch lasted for eight hours well, and after nine, there was a hint of fading present.
