Sephora Girls Night Out (03) Eyeshadow
Sephora Girls Night Out (03) Eyeshadow ($13.00 for 0.07 oz.) is described as a “metallic dark gold.” It’s a rich, molten yellow gold with bronzy brown undertones and a frosted, metallic finish. NARS Paramaribo is much less metallic, more golden, less warm-toned. Inglot #404 is more coppery. Inglot #430 is much yellower. MAC Amber Lights is browner and more coppery.
The color payoff of Girls Night Out is insane–it’s super, super pigmented with a rich, buttery texture that almost feels like a slick, cream eyeshadow. It is a softer eyeshadow, though, and when I used it, I did get some excess powder kicked up on the pan. On the eye, the color adhered well, so I didn’t see any fall out during application or later on while I wore the eyeshadow. I also expected that this was going to be dupable, but it doesn’t have enough copper/orange or gold/yellow to be close to a lot of expected shades. Girls Night Out also wore phenomenally it delivered on Sephora’s 10-hour wear claim with no fading or creasing after being worn for 10 hours (no primer).

Girls Night Out is incredibly pigmented, long-wearing, and blends beautifully. It's only ding was some powderiness in the pan, as a result of having such a soft texture. |
