Sephora Curacao Punch (13) Eyeshadow ($13.00 for 0.07 oz.) is described as a “bright aquamarine with silver glitter.” It’s a bright, medium blue with a hint of teal and silver glitter. The underlying color has a metallic finish. NARS South pacific #1 is a touch muted in comparison and has no glitter. Urban Decay Electric is bluer and matte. Make Up For Ever #83 is very similar but has no glitter.
The color payoff was just so-so when applied dry, but it was incredibly pigmented and intense when applied using a dampened brush. The glitter also adhered better initially when the product was applied to the lid with a wet brush, because when it is used dry, there is a ton of glitter fall out during the application process. Unsurprisingly, the big downfall to Curacao Punch was the glitter fall out during wear–which was lots and lots–and was noticeable after five hours or so of wear. The actual blue color lasted eight and a half hours well, and it looked a bit faded after a full ten. I noticed some very slight staining when I wore this shade without primer. It feels soft, despite the heavy glitter content, and smoothes out nicely on the skin.
If you already have a great adhesive for glitter eyeshadows, Curacao Punch is still worth considering; it has great brightness and plenty of sparkle. If you loathe fall out, though, stay away!

It had decent pigmentation applied dry, but it was more intensified and closer to full color coverage when applied wet. I had an odd problem with this shade: it applied in a very crumbly, uneven fashion. I would apply it–even damp!–and it would just… ball up on itself in a way. It looked patchy, a little faded, and it took a lot of packing on of the color to get mostly even color. It was an unusual experience, and it’s definitely not something I experience often with powder eyeshadows. The texture, in the pan, felt soft, smooth, and dense, but it just didn’t apply that way. When I wore it, there was some signs of fading after eight and a half hours of wear (no primer).

This shade applied better with a dampened brush, because the color was weak dry, and there was a ton of glitter fall out if the eyeshadow was patted on dry. Unfortunately, while applying it damp helped to improve color payoff and minimize fall out, it did not apply evenly or smoothly; it looked patchy and faded from the get-go. With this particular shade, I think the only way to really get the color to come through is by layering it over a green/teal (or white) colored base.

When applied dry, it had rather disappointing color payoff; it appeared dry and a bit uneven, and overall, semi-sheer. When applied with a damp brush, it took on a much more intense color; it applied more evenly, smoothly, and was mostly opaque. Sephora’s Mirror finish is interesting, because it has the sparkling quality of a glitter eyeshadow matched with the reflective quality of a metallic finish but without the fall out problems. While it didn’t wear the full ten hours Sephora claimed, it did hold up well; there was only some very minor fading along the edges.

Sephora Jungle Party (09) Eyeshadow ($13.00 for 0.07 oz.) is described as a “sparkling dark green.” It’s a dark blackened brown base with green and gold sparkle. It has a glitter finish, according to Sephora, though it is not quite as sparkly as some of the other glitter finishes in the range. MAC Smutty Green is somewhat similar when applied lightly, but it is ultimately much greener. I couldn’t think of anything else, but you could definitely try layering a shimmery green eyeshadow over a matte black eyeshadow.
I’m not a huge fan of Sephora’s glitter finish eyeshadows, because they absolutely do have fall out problems–some are worse than others–and this one is not the worst, but it does have some fall out during application and some more does present itself while the color is worn. The texture of Jungle Party is soft but a bit dry and powdery; it doesn’t blend out as readily as other shades in the range have. I find it is best applied with a damp brush, because then you can get the majority of the sparkle onto the lid instead of trapped in the brush or underneath the eye. Of course, the more that gets applied to the eye, the more you’ll see make its way below your eye during the day. I would say about half of the sparkle seemed to travel, as after ten hours, there was still noticeable sparkle on the lid. The glitter particles in Jungle Party seem more like sparkle in size; not as big as glitter, so it’s not as gritty, and I didn’t experience any irritation or watery eyes despite the fall out problems.

It had so-so color payoff when applied dry, and it was more intensely pigmented when applied with a damp brush–it appeared greener and smoother. The texture was soft, and even though it didn’t have superb pigmentation dry, it did apply smoothly. I didn’t have any problems blending out the color once it was on, and it didn’t have any powderiness or fall out during (or later on) application. When I wore Walk on the Wild Side, it lasted for eight full hours well, and after ten hours, there were noticeable signs of fading.
As long as you're willing to work with this shade using a damp brush, it's worth considering. It's a nice shade of forest green that isn't too blackened or warm-toned.
