Too Faced Melted Coral Melted Liquified Long Wear Lipstick
Too Faced Melted Coral Melted Liquified Long Wear Lipstick

Here are the other three shades of Too Faced Melted Liquified Long Wear Lipstick ($21.00 for 0.40 fl. oz.). (If you missed part one, check out the review here.) It’s a new (and permanent) formula that’s supposed to have “intensely saturated lip color with a precise tip applicator.” Too Faced says it has “the shine of a gloss, lasting power of a stain, and pigment-packed color of a liquid lipstick.” The consistency is light-medium–not too thick but not runny or watery–and is squeezed out of the tube through a flocked, angled applicator. These next three shades were similar in application and quality to the first three, too, which is always a good thing! The pigmentation was intense, opaque, and the colors applied evenly. These wear a really long time, but these lighter shades didn’t stain as much as the deeper shades in the range. They’re not moisturizing on me, but they’re not drying and pretty comfortable to wear, even towards the end of the wear. The finish is a satin, which turns to a matte after three to four hours of wear, but they never fully set, so these aren’t transfer-proof.

Too Faced Melted Coral Melted Liquified Long Wear Lipstick ($21.00 for 0.40 fl. oz.) is described as a “creamy coral.” It’s a light-medium orange with subtle reddish tones. It had a satin finish, fully opaque color, and lasted for six hours on me. Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics Kimber (P, $18.00) is more orange. NARS Torres del Paine (LE, $25.00) is lighter. theBalm First Officer (LE) is more matte. Givenchy Croisiere Coral (310) (LE, $36.00) is similar. MAC Sushi Kiss (LE, $16.00) is lighter, more orange. NARS Lodhi (P, $25.00) is similar. MAC Style Surge (P, $22.00) is a touch darker. MAC Razzledazzler (LE, $16.00) is a bit lighter. See comparison swatches / view dupes.

Too Faced Melted Peony Melted Liquified Long Wear Lipstick ($21.00 for 0.40 fl. oz.) is described as a “dusty rose.” It’s a light-medium, muted pink with subtle warm undertones and a satin finish. It had rich color payoff that yielded full color coverage, which wore well for five hours. MAC How Darling (LE, $16.00) is slightly cooler-toned. Chanel Radieuse (217) (LE, $34.00) is cooler-toned. MAC Dreaminess (P, $22.00) is lighter, cooler-toned. See comparison swatches / view dupes.

Too Faced Melted Nude Melted Liquified Long Wear Lipstick ($21.00 for 0.40 fl. oz.) is described as a “neutral nude.” It’s a medium, peachy-beige with warm undertones and a satin-matte finish. It had intense pigmentation that was opaque and smooth on the lips. This shade wore well for five hours, which is on the shorter end for this formula. MAC Sensual Sparks (LE, $16.00) is darker. Givenchy Beige Mousseline (101) (P, $36.00) is similar. MAC Sweet & Sour (LE, $16.00) is lighter. NARS Biscayne Park (P, $25.00) is slightly darker. MAC Posh Tone (P, $22.00) is darker. MAC Delectable (LE, $16.00) is slightly darker. MAC Wholesome (LE, $16.00) is similar. MAC Cozy Up (LE, $16.00) is also similar. See comparison swatches / view dupes.

Chanel Cheeky (79) Blush Creme de Chanel
Chanel Cheeky (79) Blush Creme de Chanel

Chanel Cheeky (79) Blush Creme de Chanel ($38.00 for 0.09 oz.) is described as a “rose with bronze tint.” It’s a medium brown with subtle rosiness and neutral-to-warm undertones. It had a satin-mate finish when applied. Revlon Naughty Nude (006) (P, $9.99) is lighter, more shimmery, powder. Chanel Accent (84) (LE, $43.00) is more shimmery, powder. Kevyn Aucoin Natura (P) is lighter, powder. See comparison swatches / view dupes.

Regular readers will know that Chanel’s cream blush is one of my favorites (actually, if pressed, it is THE favorite). It has a cream-to-powder formulation, which means that initially, it feels like a cream blush, but as it gets applied to the skin, it becomes a powder, which means it easily blends on top of foundation or bare skin, goes on evenly and smoothly, and never looks powdery or caky. The finish is satin-matte, which gives it a very believable, natural finish that’s not too dewy or luminous, but it’s also not flat. On fairer skin tones than mine, it might work as a contour as well. It had excellent, true-to-pan color payoff that could be applied as richly or as subtly as desired. When I tested it, the color wore well for ten hours before lightly fading.

Chanel Mirage (95) Illusion d'Ombre Eyeshadow
Chanel Mirage (95) Illusion d’Ombre Eyeshadow

Chanel Mirage (95) Illusion d’Ombre Eyeshadow ($36.00 for 0.14 oz.) is described as a “bronze.” It’s a golden, medium-dark bronze with warm undertones and a metallic sheen. It had excellent color payoff, and the texture was lightly creamy, velvety, and easy to blend on the lid. This shade wore well for twelve hours before slightly fading. MAC Crushed Clove (P, $15.00) is lighter, powder. bareMinerals Hot Commodity (LE) is less metallic, powder. Too Faced Jingle All the Way Eyeshadow #4 (LE, $16.00) is lighter, powder. Too Faced Buttered Rum (LE, $16.00) is similar, powder. Chanel Initiation (827) (LE, $36.00) is more glittery but still similar in color. Maybelline Downtown Brown (P, $6.99) is similar, powder. Urban Decay Suspect (LE, $18.00) is lighter, powder. MAC Woodwinked (P, $15.00) is darker, powder. Benefit Thanks a Latte (P, $20.00) is lighter, powder. See comparison swatches / view dupes.

Chanel Utopia (96) Illusion d’Ombre Eyeshadow ($36.00 for 0.14 oz.) is described as a “luminous lavender.” It’s a pink-purple with a frosted, metallic finish and very fine sparkle. It had slightly cool undertones. The texture was velvety and smooth, but the color payoff was semi-opaque; buildable to a point but not fully opaque. This shade wore well for ten hours on me before starting to fade. MAC Great Beyond #2 (LE, $21.00) is darker, powder. Urban Decay Grifter (P, $18.00) is brighter, cooler-toned, powder. MAC Kitschmas (P, $21.00) is warmer, powder. Bobbi Brown Cool Lilac (P, $24.00) is similar. See comparison swatches / view dupes.

Chanel New Moon (97) Illusion d’Ombre Eyeshadow ($36.00 for 0.14 oz.) is described as a “iridescent copper.” It’s a glittery, medium-dark brown with warm, red undertones and a metallic finish. The texture had that velvety, spongy feel that is expected from this formula, but it doesn’t apply as smoothly–looks almost gritty at times–due to the high glitter content. It had fairly good color payoff, but it seemed more prone to fading over time and only wore well for nine hours on me. Clarins The Essentials #9 (LE) is less glittery, powder. Makeup Geek Blitz (P, $6.99) is less glittery, powder. Le Metier de Beaute Champagne Shimmer (P, $28.00) is lighter. Disney by Sephora Chateau (LE) is less glittery, cooler-toned, powder. Tom Ford Beauty Platinum (LE, $40.00) is cooler-toned. Guerlain Les Fauves #1 (LE) is less glittery, powder. Estee Lauder Violet Underground #2 (LE, $21.00) is less glittery, powder. Chanel Ebloui (P, $36.00) is darker. See comparison swatches / view dupes.

Cult Nails New Day Nail Lacquer
Cult Nails It’s a New Day Collection

Cult Nails It’s a New Day Collection ($36.00 for 3 x 0.50 fl. oz.) is a three-piece, limited edition collection. It’s available for pre-order at a special price of $24, and each pre-order also receives a free stamping plate. The way Cult Nails’ collections work presently is they’re sold via pre-order as a set, and if there are any remaining sets after the pre-order concludes, then those remaining bottles will be available as individual shades for purchase.

Cult Nails New Day Nail Lacquer ($12.00 for 0.50 fl. oz.) is described as an “opaque, pastel yellow.” It’s a light, buttery yellow with a cream finish. It is mostly opaque in two coats, and it self-levels fairly well. I still ended up with a little bit of streakiness on my pinky nail, but the other three nails had totally self-leveled. The first coat was noticeably streaky, but the second coat hid and filled in the rest (excepting the pinky nail). The consistency is slightly thick, so I would make sure to take the time to do a thinner first coat, then a more normal coat for the second one. MAC Near Beth Experience (LE, $16.00) is a touch less warm-toned. Butter London Jasper (P, $15.00) is darker. See comparison swatches / view dupes.

Cult Nails Evolution Nail Lacquer ($12.00 for 0.50 fl. oz.) is described as a “sheer, but buildable, peach creme/jelly hybrid.” It’s a light, pastel peach with a cream finish. It’s sheer, as described, in a single coat, but it was a little streaky to me. I’ve also shown it with two coats, where it is opaque and had no streakiness. Dior Blossom (132) (LE, $24.00) is slightly darker. MAC Pep Pep Pep (LE, $16.00) is similar. MAC Myth (LE, $16.00) is darker. Chanel Emprise (P, $27.00) is darker. See comparison swatches / view dupes.

Cult Nails Falling Hard Nail Lacquer ($12.00 for 0.50 fl. oz.) is described as a “one coat, bubblegum pink creme.” It’s a light-medium, cool-toned bubblegum pink with a cream finish. It was fully opaque in one coat, just as promised. The consistency wasn’t too thick or too thin, but it leans slightly thick. Illamasqua Harem (P, $17.00) is lighter, cooler-toned. MAC Vagabondage (LE, $16.00) is similar MAC Saint Germain (LE, $16.00) is similar. Zoya Shelby (P, $9.00) is darker. Essie Cascade Cool (LE, $8.00) is similar. See comparison swatches / view dupes.

P.S. — If you go through my referral link, you can get $12 off $24 on your first purchase. Note, it does not apply to the special pre-sale price (which is already discounted), so just a heads up :)

Too Faced Melted Violet Melted Liquified Long Wear Lipstick
Too Faced Melted Violet Melted Liquified Long Wear Lipstick

Too Faced Melted Liquified Long Wear Lipstick ($21.00 for 0.40 fl. oz.) is a new (and permanent) formula that’s supposed to have “intensely saturated lip color with a precise tip applicator.” Too Faced says it has “the shine of a gloss, lasting power of a stain, and pigment-packed color of a liquid lipstick.” The consistency is light-medium–not too thick but not runny or watery–and is squeezed out of the tube through a flocked, angled applicator. All of the shades below were richly pigmented, and it seemed like a little went a long way, so don’t squeeze too much at once. The application of the colors was smooth, and each shade delivered even, opaque color that didn’t settle into lip lines or feather/bleed outside of the natural lip line. They wore for hours and hours (actual wear time noted below), and they were neither drying nor hydrating over time. The finish is a satin, which turns to a matte after three to four hours of wear, but they never fully set, so these aren’t transfer-proof. Here are the first three that I tested, with the next set to come soon–stay tuned!

Too Faced Melted Violet Melted Liquified Long Wear Lipstick ($21.00 for 0.40 fl. oz.) is described as a “violet orchid.” It’s a medium, magenta purple with a satin finish. The color coverage was totally opaque, and it applied evenly. It lasted for six and a half hours and left behind a stain. MAC RiRi Boy (LE, $16.00) is more muted, more matte. MAC Seductive Intent (LE, $16.00) is darker. MAC Up the Amp (P, $16.00) is more muted. See comparison swatches / view dupes.

Too Faced Melted Fuchsia Melted Liquified Long Wear Lipstick ($21.00 for 0.40 fl. oz.) is described as a “hot pink.” It’s a blindingly bright fuchsia pink with cool, blue undertones and a satin finish. It had full color coverage that went on evenly and smoothly without feathering outside the natural lip line. It lasted for eight hours and a stain lingered for hours after. Ardency Inn Twist (P, $25.00) is slightly more muted. Maybelline Hot Plum (P, $7.49) is darker. MAC Rare Exotic (LE, $16.00) is darker. MAC Pink Pigeon (LE, $16.00) is less blue-based, more muted. Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics Pretty Boy (P, $18.00) is darker. See comparison swatches / view dupes.

Too Faced Melted Ruby Melted Liquified Long Wear Lipstick ($21.00 for 0.40 fl. oz.) is described as a “blood red.” It’s a vibrant, medium-dark cherry red with cool, pinky undertones and a satin finish. This shade was slightly glossier than the other two, but it still had the same rich, intense pigmentation. The consistency was a little thinner, so I felt like it wasn’t quite as easy to apply as the other two. It wore well for eight hours and again, a stain lingered for a few hours after. Chanel La Precieuse (317) (LE, $34.00) is more matte. MAC Glam (DC, $16.00) is a touch lighter. NARS Luxembourg (P, $25.00) is more matte. Maybelline Very Cherry (P, $7.49) is darker. MAC Ronnie Red (LE, $16.00) is more matte. Dior Marilyn (LE, $36.00) is darker. Make Up For Ever #43 (P, $19.00) is not quite as blue-based. See comparison swatches / view dupes.

Bite Beauty Grape Matte Creme Lip Crayon
Bite Beauty Grape Matte Creme Lip Crayon

Today, I have the remaining three shades of Bite Beauty Matte Creme Lip Crayons ($24.00 for 0.05 oz.), so if you missed the first three, check out part one. The formula is supposed to be a “moisture-rich, matte-finish lipstick with a delicious citrus scent.” The colors are rich and opaque, while they’re lightly hydrating (I don’t know if I’d go as far as to say “moisture-rich”), comfortable to wear, and long-wearing. They have a lemony-herbal-y scent to me, which may or may not be appealing to you. The only true downside is that these are 0.05 oz., as compared to the average-sized lipstick, which is around 0.10 oz.

Bite Beauty Grape Matte Creme Lip Crayon is described as a “muted violet.” It’s a medium-dark, magenta purple with cool undertones and a satin-matte finish. It had intense pigmentation that fully covered the lips in smooth, even color. The shade wore on for almost six hours, and it was lightly hydrating while worn. Sephora + Pantone Universe Radiant Rush (LE, $18.00) is slightly more fuchsia. Chanel La Diva (44) (P, $34.00) is more matte, pinker. MAC RiRi Boy (LE, $16.00) is more muted, purpler. MAC Up the Amp (P, $16.00) is more muted, purpler. MAC Candy Yum Yum (P, $16.00) is brighter, pinker. See comparison swatches / view dupes.

Bite Beauty Satsuma Matte Creme Lip Crayon is described as a “fuchsia pink.” It’s a brightened, medium fuchsia pink with cool, blue undertones and a satin finish. It was extremely well-pigmented, and the color applied very evenly. This shade lasted for five and a half hours on me, and it was lightly hydrating. Sephora + Pantone Universe Radiant Rush (LE, $18.00) is darker. Bite Beauty Moscato (P, $28.00) is brighter. Chanel La Diva (44) (P, $34.00) is more matte. MAC Candy Yum Yum (P, $16.00) is similar. Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics Nylon (P, $18.00) is brighter. See comparison swatches / view dupes.

Bite Beauty Sweety Orange Matte Creme Lip Crayon is described as a “coral pink.” It’s a light-medium, warm-toned pink with a satin-matte finish. Like the rest of the shades in the range, the pigmentation-level was full coverage, and it applied beautifully without streaking or settling into lip lines. This shade lasted five hours on me, and it was lightly moisturizing during that time. MAC Viva Glam Nicki (LE, $16.00) is lighter. Le Metier de Beaute Fiji (P, $32.00) is more muted. See comparison swatches / view dupes.
