Share: Tell us what you love and hate about Eye Cream!
my answer: I’m not sold on the idea of eye cream as a whole; I’m just not convinced they’re necessary if you’re using an effective moisturizer/serum on your face already, though I’m sure they have benefits and work well for some (and less well for others). It’s not something I have in my routine at present based on what I’ve read up until now. My eye area is somewhat sensitive, and nearly every eye cream I’ve tried has burned the eye area–and I’m applying on the orbital bone/eye contour (not directly onto the lid!), which is why the whole face moisturizer/serum makes the most sense for me.

my answer: This is true of high-end, but they can be really obnoxious in scent! Sometimes with sunscreens, the texture doesn’t seem as refined, so it doesn’t apply as smoothly or dry down as quickly. I like the price point, which is a given, but this is really important, because you can use as much as you need–you don’t feel bad using it or feel like you should be conserving it!
Share: Tell us what you love and hate about High-End Skincare!
my answer: A lot of them are very perfume-y, and when it comes to scents in skincare, I am far more sensitive to them. I think everyone (whether it’s $5 or $50) over-promises on benefits, but when it’s high-end, it can be frustrating when they don’t perform well. I like the texture, though, of a lot of higher-end skincare products.

my answer: I love that they can add pizzazz to any manicure, but I get really annoyed when you have to fish shapes or bits out of the bottle or if you have to do a lot of maneuvering of the glitters on the nail so there aren’t empty areas.
Share: Tell us what you love and hate about Brow Gel!
my answer: I love it and try to use it more often to keep brows in place, but sometimes I feel like I’m over-paying for the product (probably because I am).
Share: Tell us what you love and hate about Mega Makeup Palettes!
my answer: I’m just not that person who wants to have a 100 eyeshadows in a single palette… at least one that is pre-made. The quality can be all over the place, and if you only like a few shades, it can be annoying to take out the entire palette. As a blogger, they are my nemesis, because I somehow was crazy enough to rate every product individually and give dupes individually so something with 100 eyeshadows makes me curl up and cry.
