my answer: Seasonal collections are fun but they can be boring, because there are always a few trends/colors that repeat depending on the season.

my answer: I don’t like them when they’re really subtle, because I think they end up looking cooler in the bottle than on. I want it to be strong and noticeable no matter the lighting!

my answer: I feel like they so rarely look good paired with foundation, so you really have to have good skin naturally wear them and enjoy them!

my answer: I like when brands put together interesting shoots with their latest products, but I think it’s important that it is a cohesive campaign – I want to see breakdowns or breakouts of what was used, behind-the-scenes footage, etc. It helps to reinforce that the products were actually used on set and how you can “get the look.” I don’t like when you can’t see any texture on the skin.

my answer: I feel short-changed that what we get sold as BB Creams here in the U.S. are largely NOT really BB creams, so I think it’s muddied the waters and not given us the product that has done so well overseas. As a result, I just haven’t been that interested in trying them.

my answer: When they work well, they can be amazing, but when they don’t, they can be such a mess/pain in the butt to deal with. They don’t always play well with foundation/base makeup, either.
