Color Correctors

I haven’t used these extensively, and less so in the last year or so. I think the only noticeable area that could benefit from it on me is my redder cheeks, but liquid foundation is usually enough for me, so the extra step of color correcting doesn’t appeal to me as much. I’m glad they exist, as they are useful for some!

Sponge Applicators

For the face, I think sponge applicators are still really useful, especially if they’re more durable so you can get more than a few uses out of them. Ones for the eyes I find less useful in a day-to-day routine, since they are harder to use (too large for me/the sponge often pulls away from the plastic holder) to really get a nuanced eye look.

Brown Eyeliner

I don’t often wear matte/semi-matte brown eyeliners, but I love a shimmery brown eyeliner to give definition without overwhelming the eyeshadows I’m wearing.

Coral Blush

Hard to do anything but rave over coral blushes for me… perhaps my only “rant” is that a lot of the ones that release are very, very similar.

Stick Concealers

I find they offer really opaque coverage with thicker consistencies that do well for smoothing out the area, but they sometimes seem to crease more readily on me and take some practice (and the right applicator/product) to set as they are already thick.

Liquid Concealers

From my experience, they can be less pigmented if they’re thinner (but easier to spread, though they can be streaky if you’re not careful), whereas they can be really pigmented but harder to spread if they’re thicker.
