Quick Dame Edna look for y’all today! :) Wisteria is a really, really pretty blue — but I probably wouldn’t use it to justify buying the entire palette, since the other two shadows are easily duped and their textures aren’t even great (feel like lustres to me, yuck!). Fineshine, especially, gets all over the place.

You will need the following…

  • Eyes: Mutiny pigment (teal-blue), Fineshine eyeshadow (silver), Wisteria eyeshadow (light blue-aqua), Divine Night eyeshadow (dark gray-silver), Femme-fi eyeshadow (highlighter), Urban Decay Ye-yo 24/7 Liner (white), Presriptives Grotto Eye Liner (green-blue), Plushlash mascara (black)
  • Cheeks: Spectacle! beauty powder (powdery pink), Dior Rose Diamond Skin Shimmer (shimmery pink)
  • Lips: B-Babe lipstick (frosty pink), Red devil lipglass (coral with red tones)
  • Brushes: 266 (firm, angled brush), 249 (flat, firm brush), 239 (fluffy shadow brush), 129 (dense blush brush)
  • Substitutes: Mutiny = Delft; Fineshine = Electra; Wisteria = Clear Sky Blue; Divine Night = Knight Divine; B-Babe = Bombshell; Red Devil = Lychee Luxe

Directions: Define brows using a coordinating powder shadow applied with the 266 brush. Apply Mutiny pigment all over the lid as the base with the 249. On the inner lid, apply Fineshine eyeshadow using the 239. Apply Wisteria eyeshadow to the middle of the lid. Darken the outer lid using Divine Night eyeshadow and drag into crease using the 239. Sweep Femme-fi eyeshadow underneath the brow bone to highlight. Finish with Urban Decay Ye-yo 24/7 Liner and Prescriptives Grotto liner on lower lash line, and Plushlash mascara on lashes. Sweep apples of cheeks with Spectacle! beauty powder using the 129, highlight with Dior Rose Diamond shimmer. Apply B-Babe lipstick to lips, and then top with Red Devil lipglass for color and shine.

Yet another old look! I did this around mid-November, I think, but I made the worst mistake! So, I did all the makeup so I could post on the blog, but I started removing my makeup before I had taken full-face photos. My total apologies for the way the full-face photos turned out, because I only realized my error after I had removed one eye. I tried to hide it using my hair, but it didn’t go so well, LOL. But hopefully you get the idea.

Now, I better get my butt back to studying. My three-hour final starts at 1PM, and it is worth 100% of my grade! Wish me luck ;)

P.S. – Somehow comments got disabled on this post, but they’re allowed now :) Sorry about that!

You will need the following…

  • Eyes: Azreal pigment (soft blue-aqua), Aquavert eyeshadow (soft aqua), Shimmermoss eyeshadow (teal), Electric Eel eyeshadow (bright blue), Freshwater eyeshadow (medium blue), Gorgeous Gold eyeshadow (green-gold), Prescriptives Blue Grotto liner (forest green-blue), Plushlash mascara (black)
  • Cheeks: Enough Said blush (soft peach)
  • Lips: Ravishing lipstick (coral-orange), Pink Grapefruit lipglass (coral-pink)
  • Brushes: 266 (firm, angled brush), 249 (flat, firm brush), 239 (fluffy shadow brush), 129 (dense blush brush)
  • Substitutes: Azreal = Blue + Frozen White; Aquavert = Tilt; Enough Said = bronzer, Pink Grapefruit = Lychee Luxe

Directions: Define brows using a coordinating powder shadow applied with the 266 brush. Apply Azreal pigment all over the lid as the base with the 249. On the inner lid, apply Aquavert eyeshadow using the 239. Apply Shimmermoss eyeshadow to the middle of the lid, then overlay partiall with Electric Eel eyeshadow. Darken the outer lid using Freshwater eyeshadow and drag into crease using the 239. Darken crease with Freshwater eyeshadow using the 239. Sweep Gorgeous Gold eyeshadow underneath the brow bone to highlight. Finish with Prescriptives’ Blue Grotto liner on lower lash line then smudge with Freshwater eyeshadow using the 219, and Plushlash mascara on lashes. I’m totally rocking out to Travis Barker’s remix of Soulja Boy’s “Crank That.” It’s basically one of the most awesome things I’ve ever heard! As much as I’d love to listen to this on repeat for another hour or so, I need to head out and walk Mellan for a bit… and probably hit up Starbucks’ while doing so. Ahh, if only I had will power!

You will need the following…

  • Eyes: Teal pigment (teal base), Goldmine eyeshadow (true gold), Shimmermoss eyeshadow (teal), Electric Eel eyeshadow (bright blue), Deep Truth eyeshadow (dark blue), Climate Blue eyeshadow (dark indigo), Gorgeous Gold eyeshadow (green-toned gold), Prescriptives’ Grotto Kohl Liner (green-teal), Lancome Oscillation mascara (black)
  • Cheeks: Enough Said blush (soft peach), NARS Super Orgasm blush (pink with peach)
  • Lips: Velvet Teddy lipstick (semi-matte nude), Vital Spark lipglass (orange-gold)
  • Brushes: 266 (firm, angled brush), 249 (flat, firm brush), 239 (fluffy shadow brush), 129 (dense blush brush)
  • Substitutes: Climate Blue = Parfait Amour + Contrast; Enough Said = bronzer; Vital Spark = Instant Gold

Directions: Define brows using a coordinating powder shadow applied with the 266 brush. Apply Teal pigment all over the lid as the base with the 249. On the inner lid, apply Goldmine eyeshadow using the 239. Apply Shimmermoss to the middle of the lid, overlaying it with Goldmine. Overlay the middle lid using Electric Eel eyeshadow, leaving about 1/4th of the lid left. Darken outer fourth of lid with Deep Truth eyeshadow, then gently sweep into crease. Deepen crease by gently patting Climate Blue eyeshadow into the crease with the 239 brush. Sweep Gorgeous Gold underneath the brow bone to highlight. Pat lower lash line with Gorgeous Gold eyeshadow using the 219. Finish with Prescriptives’ Grotto kohl liner on lower lash line, and Lancome Oscillation mascara on lashes. Sweep apples of cheeks with Enough Said & NARS Super Orgasm using the 129. Apply Velvet Teddy lipstick to lips, and then top with Vital Spark lipglass for color and shine.

As promised, here’s a look using the holiday ’08 warm eyes palette :) For those wondering, I really do not think Femme Noir looks anything like Grand Entrance. Femme Noir is almost a black-green on me, but it’s an olive, muted green. Grand Entrance is a rich forest green.

You will need the following…

  • Eyes: Old Gold pigment (green-gold base), Goldmine eyeshadow (true gold), Warm Suede eyeshadow (brown with green tint), Grand Entrance eyeshadow (dark forest green), Carbon eyeshadow (black), Sweet Joy eyeshadow (soft beige-peach), Prescriptives Blue Grotto Kohl (green-blue), Plushlash mascara (black)
  • Cheeks: Enough Said blush (soft peachy)
  • Lips: Quiet Please lipstick (sheer beige), Tartlette lipglass (coral-pink)
  • Brushes: 266 (firm, angled brush), 249 (flat, firm brush), 239 (fluffy shadow brush), 129 (dense blush brush)
  • Substitutes: Warm Suede = Sumptuous Olive; Grand Entrance = Femme Noir + Humid; Sweet Joy = Ricepaper; Enough Said = bronzer; Quiet Please = Fresh Brew; Tartlette = Lychee Luxe

Directions: Define brows using a coordinating powder shadow applied with the 266 brush. Apply Old Gold pigment all over the lid as the base with the 249. On the inner third of the lid, apply Goldmine eyeshadow using the 239. Apply Warm Suede to the middle of the lid. Darken the outer lid using Grand Entrance eyeshadow and drag into crease using the 239. Deepen crease with Carbon eyeshadow by pulling it into the crease. Sweep Sweet Joy eyeshadow underneath the brow bone to highlight. Finish with Prescriptives’ Blue Grotto kohl on lower lash line, and Plushlash mascara on lashes. Sweep apples of cheeks with Enough Said blush using the 129, then highlight with Soft & Gentle mineralize skinfinish using the 188. Apply Quiet Please lipstick to lips, and then top with Tartlette lipglass for color and shine.
