Picture Polish Jealousy Nail Lacquer
Picture Polish Jealousy Nail Lacquer ($9.50 for 0.50 fl. oz.) is described as a “glittery green.” It’s a light-medium grassy green base with yellow undertones and chartreuse, emerald green, and medium green glitter and shimmer. I don’t have anything that’s quite like this. Zoya Meg is all light yellow-toned green. Wet ‘n’ Wild Sagreena the Teenage Witch is straight emerald green. Sinful Colors HD Nails is more of a medium green. Zoya Apple is closer, but it’s less of a grassy-green and has less coverage. Nubar Meadow Sparkle is just the lighter green glitter.
It’s fully opaque after two coats, which is fantastic for a shade with this much glitter. It also dries to a nearly perfectly smooth finish–it’s not gritty or bumpy. There’s even a slight sheen at the end, though I’d still recommend a top coat for extra shine. The consistency is very thick, gel-like, and it was nearly impossible to do two thin coats. With the thicker consistency, each coat has a long drying time. I would recommend letting the first coat dry before applying the next, because while it’s very forgiving if you go to apply a second coat too soon, it’s hard to tell when it’s fully dry that way. I did test the wear of this shade in particular, and it wore for a full seven days with minor tip wear but no chipping.

| I wish the consistency wasn't so thick, because then it would be a better polish overall. I really loved how nicely pigmented the shade was, and it's always good to have a glitter shade that's opaque without needing a polish layered under it. | |
