Ozotic #505 Nail Lacquer

Ozotic #505 Nail Lacquer ($14.00 for 0.50 fl. oz.) is a multi-chromatic polish that shifts green, pink, cyan, and blue. It is more of a layering polish than anything else–you can see the color alone, but in order for the multi-chromatic effect to really pop, a darker underlayer works best. I applied two coats of it alone on my index and middle fingers, and then I applied one coat of it over a black polish on my ring finger. Alone, there are bits of silvery blue, fuchsia purple, and blue-purple that seem to catch the light. Over black, it looks like teal, forest green, fuchsia purple, and bluish-purple.

The formula wasn’t too thick or too thin, so it applied easily without streaking or bubbling. ┬áIt actually had surprising coverage on its own–just shy of being opaque with a hint of visible nail line after two coats.

Ozotic definitely knows how to make a duochrome/multi-chrome polish, and if you're really in the market for one--don't waste money on imitations; Ozotic is a surefire way to get the results you want with an excellent formula.
