Yep! That’s right — Le Metier de Beaute is now available at Nordstrom (online only, as far as I know).  If you’re unfamiliar with the brand, your wallet may be happy, but it is a top-notch luxury brand that’s been hard-to-find–especially in-store–and usually purchased online.  I love myself some Nordstrom, because I do love their customer service and return policy.  When it comes to buying makeup sight unseen, a generous return policy is always a must for me!

Nordstrom Anniversary Sale Begins!

Nordstrom’s Anniversary Sale has officially kicked off and will last through August 1st at 11:59pm PST. In case you’re unfamiliar with it, the Nordstrom’s Anniversary Sale spans two weeks with new-for-fall accessories, clothing, shoes, etc. marked down. Beauty brands also participate with exclusive products, sets and GWPs.

Did you stay up to catch the sale?  ‘Cause I totally did, though, admittedly, midnight isn’t that late! I’m all about the SHOES. SHOES. SHOES!  Share any and all hauls you may make!  See ya there!!

Nordstrom Anniversary Sale 2010 Beauty Exclusives

Hey all! Even though pre-sale doesn’t technically begin until June 21st, Nordstrom stores are taking pre-orders for beauty exclusives. Nordstrom will have full details up on all Beauty Exclusives on June 21st online as well, but stores all have their books with details already! The Anniversary Sale kicks off on July 16th.

Buy 2 Mascaras, Get 1 Free @ Nordstrom

Today (May 29th) only, Nordstrom is having a special where you can purchase two mascaras [from the same brand] and get a third free [of the brand's top selling mascara]. It only applies to certain mascaras, which you can see here. Even though it says only applicable to certain brands, all the major mascara contenders are included — Chanel, Dior, Lancome — along with Bare Escentuals, Bobbi Brown, Chantecaille, Clarins, Clinique, Estee Lauder, Guerlain, Laura Mercier, MAC, NARS, Shiseido, Smashbox, Trish McEvoy, YSL and more.

Heads up, though – I think doing this in-store will yield you more variety. Just like when Nordstrom did buy 2 eyeshadows, get 1 free for MAC, you could only get the same shade for free online, but in-store, you could choose. I haven’t been to Nordstrom (hey, it’s 7am!) today, so I couldn’t tell you myself, but you could always call and ask before making the trip over, too.   Funny enough, I don’t think there is any mascara I’d be willing to commit to with 2-3 tubes, haha.

MAC Opulash Mascara is now available for purchase online at Nordstrom! You can grab it now online or else buy it in-store on April 22nd. (It will be available at all MAC locations on May 27th–Nordstrom gets the exclusive!)

Opulash is supposed to give you some extreme lashes with volumizing and curling, without clumping and “superlative separation.” It retails for $14 a pop.  I’m going to grab mine when it shows up in-stores, since it coincides perfectly for Pret-a-papier’s arrival.
