Look – Experimentation in Gold, Brown, and Black

Just something I messed around with for FUN. Emphasis on fun and experimentation aka not necessarily a look I’d be running around town with on an everyday basis

You will need the following…

Eyes: Uppity fluidline (antique gold base), Rich Ground fluidline (warm brown base), Going Bananas eyeshadow (bright yellow), Goldmine eyeshadow (gold), Golden Lemon pigment (yellow gold), Beautyburst eyeshadow (warm brown), Carbon eyeshadow (black), Ricepaper eyeshadow (highlight), Feline kohl power (black), Plushlash mascara (black)
Cheeks: Taupe blush (taupe)
Lips: Port Red lipstick (cherry red), Cult of Cherry lipglass (bright red), Jampacked lipglass (dark berry)
Brushes: 266 (firm, angled brush), 249 (flat, firm brush), 239 (fluffy shadow brush), 129 (dense blush brush)
Substitutes: Uppity = Indianwood; Goin’ Bananas = Sour Lemon; Beautyburst = Texture; Feline = Graphblack; Port Red = Russian Red; Cult of Cherry = Russian Red; Jampacked = Desire

Directions: Define brows using a coordinating powder shadow applied with the 266 brush. Apply Uppity fluidline on eyelid as base using the 249 brush. Apply Rich Ground fluidline above that, above the crease with the 249 brush. Apply Going Bananas eyeshadow with the 239 over Uppity fluidline. Repeat, but with Goldmine eyeshadow. With the 249, apply Golden Lemon pigment lightly over Goldmine. Darken outer lid and crease with Beautyburst eyeshadow using the 239 brush. Above crease, apply Carbon eyeshadow lightly to darken and dramatify the look. Sweep Ricepaper eyeshadow underneath the brow bone to highlight. Also sweep Goldmine eyeshadow along brow bone. Finish with Feline kohl power on lower lash line, and Plushlash mascara on lashes. Sweep apples of cheeks with Taupe blush using the 129. Apply Port Red lipstick to lips, and then top with Cult of Cherry and Jampacked lipglass for color and shine.

Looks – Soft Yellow, Gold, and Green

Yeah, I put on a full face of makeup to pack up my apartment! So what!

I used Uppity fluidline (LE) on lid, Femme-fi eyeshadow (LE) on inner lid, Gorgeous Gold eyeshadow on middle of lid, Humid eyeshadow on outer lid and crease, Gorgeous Gold eyeshadow above crease, Femme-fi eyeshadow on brow and lower lash line, Feline kohl power (LE) on lower lash line, and Plushlash mascara. I had Margin blush on cheeks. I wore Tiger Tiger lipstick (LE) with Pink Grapefruit lipglass (LE) on my lips.

Looks – Ochre Brown and Dirty Gray Brown Neutral Look

This is a look from several days ago, whereupon I was attempting to go for a sultry neutral kind of look. I think I actually found a color that I might not be so suited for (not to say it’s so bad I should never be caught dead in it), but it’s the first color I’ve found to be at odds with. I like it on its own, and I’m trying to not be so critical when it’s on me, ha! I tried to use products solely from The Originals launch, as a way to show you what you can do with some of the shadows and lip products from it. But can I just say the highlight of the look is the lip combo? Has to be one of my faves I’ve done lately!

I used Uppity fluidline on lid as a base, Ochre Style eyeshadow all over lid, Clue eyeshadow in outer crease, Ochre Style eyeshadow above crease, Daisychain eyeshadow on brow, and Feline kohl power on lower lash line. I wore Springsheen blush on cheeks with Dancing Light beauty powder to highlight. I had Twig Twig lipstick with Full On Lust lipglass on my lips.

Looks – Holiday Makeup, Red and Gold, Slightly Smoky Eye, Red Lips

I used Uppity fluidline on lid, Daisychain eyeshadow on inner lid, Goldmine eyeshadow on middle of lid, Coppering eyeshadow on outer lid, Passionate eyeshadow on outer lid, Antiqued eyeshadow on outer crease, Goldmine eyeshadow above crease, Daisychain eyeshadow on brow, Goldmine eyeshadow on lower lashline, and Feline kohl power on lower lash line. I wore Margin blush with Peach Haze beauty powder to highlight and Sculpt sculpting powder to contour. I had Queen’s Sin lipstick with Red Romp lipglass on my lips.
