OMG, I know this is really like… dull and boring and not at all like the past few FOTDs I’ve posted in the past couple of days, but not everyday can be the bold & the bright. I spent all of yesterday (this is from yesterday!) at my parents’ house with my puppy, so I knew I’d be outside most of the time (and doing three weeks’ worth of laundry!). Plus, my parents? Totally not lovers of bright colors, and since I only see them every few weeks, I aimed to please

I used Soft Ochre paint pot on lid, Hush eyeshadow on inner lid, Motif eyeshadow above inner crease, Expensive Pink eyeshadow on middle of lid, Cranberry eyeshadow on outer lid, Beauty Burst eyeshadow on outer crease, Hush eyeshadow above crease, Vex eyeshadow on brow, Nylon eyeshadow on lower lash line, Feline kohl power on lower lash line, and Plushblack plushlash mascara on lashes. I wore True Romantic beauty powder blush with Tenderdusk beauty powder to highlight on cheeks. I had Sweetie lipstick with Cult Fave lipglass and Tres Cher! lipglass on my lips.

That’s what a totally exhausted puppy looks like. As in snoring like a MACK TRUCK!

Looks – Deeper Smoky Eye for Evening Out

This is part of a tutorial that is “coming soon,” about how to go from daytime look to darker daytime look to subtle evening look to dramatic evening look. Yesterday, I posted the subtle evening look. The difference? I added Silver Ring eyeshadow to the middle lid with Vex all over the inner lid.

I used Soft Ochre paint pot all over lid, Blanc Type eyeshadow on inner lid, Bisque eyeshadow on middle of lid, Soft Brown eyeshadow on outer lid and crease, Brun eyeshadow in outer crease, Carbon eyeshadow in the outer crease, Silver Ring eyeshadow on middle lid, Vex eyeshadow on inner lid, Blanc Type eyeshadow above crease and on brow, Feline kohl power on lower lash line, Brun eyeshadow on brows, and Plushblack mascara on lashes. I wore True Romantic blush on cheeks with Tenderdusk beauty powder to highlight. I had Sweetie lipstick with Dreamy lipglass on my lips.

This is part of a tutorial that is “coming soon,” about how to go from daytime look to darker daytime look to subtle evening look to dramatic evening look. Yesterday, I posted the kicked up daytime look, and now this an evening look/night time look. The difference? Now we’ve really amped up the crease by using Carbon eyeshadow and going heavier on the black liner. (*Note: for some reason the crease doesn’t look perfectly blended, but in person, it was fine – I kept going back and freaking out over it because it would show up harsher in the photos but then there was nothign to blend away when I looked in the mirror!!)

Yesterday, I posted the first version of the look – incredibly neutral, all-matte eyeshadow – and here is the same look kicked up a notch for those who need a little more step in an everyday look. The difference? Simply darkened the crease with Brun eyeshadow!

This is the ultimate daytime look in terms of neutrality and simplicity. I’m a little disappointed that the full face shot didn’t turn out very true-to-life, because I actually loved how this came out!

Really quick Heatherette look using Trio 2 and some lip products!

I used Perky paint pot on lid, Baby Petals eyeshadow on inner lid, V.I.P. eyeshadow on middle of lid (and lightly dusted on inner lid), Cassette eyeshadow on outer lid and crease, Baby Petals eyeshadow above crease and on brow, and Graphblack technakohl on lower lash line. I wore True Romantic beauty powder blush on cheeks with Tenderdusk beauty powder (loose) to highlight. I had Hollywood Nights lipstick with Starlet Kiss lipglass on my lips.
