I find that this always looks very pink on me, and it often looks less pink on others. It has semi-sheer to semi-opaque color coverage; there’s translucency so it allows the natural lip color to come through. If you have redder lips, this is going to turn into a reddish plum shade and look less pink. It has a soft, luminous finish, and it wears for three to four hours on me. Plumful is probably one of my favorite Lustre finishes, because it isn’t drying and wears a bit longer than the norm. It is, unfortunately, sold out with the snake skin embossing (although maybe MAC will restock), but Plumful is around in regular packaging all year-round, as it is part of the permanent range.
I find that this always looks very pink on me, and it often looks less pink on others. Capricious is a good option if you want something more plum than pink, and if you want something more pink than plum, Sweetie. Plumful is beautifully in-between.

MAC Plumful Lipstick ($14.50 for 0.10 oz.) is a muted medium pink with a touch of plum, which gives it a slightly darker overall appearance. It has a lustre finish, but it delivers a surprising amount of color pay off (semi-opaque). I originally bought this to use in the Sultry Season, but it’s just not vampy and dark and sultry enough for that purpose! However, it is a gorgeous shade of pink without being milky, candy, or bright. I think it’s very wearable for both cooler and warmer skin tones, though it leans slightly cool. I don’t know how I went this long without Plumful in my stash!
Lustre finishes are supposed to be more moisturizing but can be somewhat drying (but Plumful wasn’t), but they’re often on the sheerer side; I’m happy that Plumful isn’t, just because some of the lustre shades barely show up at all. All MAC lipsticks are vanilla-scented but have no discernible taste. I typically get four hours of wear out of MAC lipsticks, with some of the darker shades going as long as five.

Creme de la Femme lipstick is a pinky purple shade with gold warmth in it. It has a slight shimmer, since it is a frost finish, but not overly so.
Capricious lipstick is a plummy shade with just a touch of rose to make it interesting.
Up the Amp lipstick is a creamy, opaque purple with a bit of reddish-violet tones to it. This is a shade not for the faint of heart. It isn’t a light or lilac-y purple by any means!
