MAC Mall Madness Lipglass
MAC Mall Madness Lipglass ($16.50 for 0.17 fl. oz.) is described as a “mid-tone pink violet.” It’s a pinky-plum with gold, fuchsia, and violet micro-shimmer. MAC Dress Kimono is similar in color but has a lot less shimmer. MAC Dare to Dare is sheerer and has larger sparkle. MAC Imperial Red is a touch darker. Bobbi Brown Electric Violet is sheerer and a bit purpler.
Applied, it yielded semi-opaque color coverage with a good amount of color and shimmer. The color didn’t settle into lip lines, and it went on smoothly and evenly. Lipglass has a thicker consistency that’s rather tacky, and this shade wore for just over three hours and was neither hydrating nor drying. It has really subtle shimmer, despite it seeming to have so much of it, so if you like just a little sparkle, you may like this shade a lot. There’s just enough color that it’s not a barely-there gloss, but it’s not too dark or bright. I want to call it spring-but-better. MAC Lipglasses are vanilla-scented and come with a doe-foot applicator.
