Long time no look! It’s been a ridiculously busy week over at Temptalia HQ between midterms, team projects, and blogging. I’d say more, but I just ran out of time — gotta get to class! You will need the following… Eyes: Lovely Lily pigment (pastel purple), NARS Jolie Poupee eyeshadow duo (cool satin purple/plummy-purple), Stars [...]]]> Long time no look! You will need the following…

  • Eyes: Lovely Lily pigment (pastel purple), NARS Jolie Poupee eyeshadow duo (cool satin purple/plummy-purple), Stars ‘n Rockets eyeshadow (duochrome fuchsia-purple), Cinders eyeshadow (dark blue-purple), Hush eyeshadow (pink highlighter), Urban Decay Lust 24/7 Liner (purple), Plushlash mascara (black)
  • Cheeks: NARS Super Orgasm blush (soft peachy pink)
  • Lips: Insinuate lipstick (plum with pink), Crystal Rose lipglass (fuchsia-purple)
  • Brushes: 266 (firm, angled brush), 249 (flat, firm brush), 239 (fluffy shadow brush), 129 (dense blush brush)
  • Substitutes: Cinders = Contrast; Insinuate = Plumful; Crystal Rose = Pink Pearl pigment

Directions: Define brows using a coordinating powder shadow applied with the 266 brush. Apply Lovely Lily pigment all over the lid as the base with the 249. On the inner-to-middle lid, apply Jolie Poupee eyeshadow (purple) using the 239. Apply Jolie Poupee eyeshadow (plum) to the outer half of the lid. Darken the outer lid using Cinders eyeshadow and drag into crease using the 239. Soften harsh color lines with Stars ‘n Rockets eyeshadow above the crease. Sweep Hush underneath the brow bone to highlight. Finish with Lust 24/7 Liner on lower lash line, and Plushlash mascara on lashes. Sweep apples of cheeks with Super Orgasm using the 129. Apply Insinuate lipstick to lips, and then top with Crystal Rose lipglass for color and shine.

  • Brushes: 266 (firm, angled brush), 249 (flat, firm brush), 239 (fluffy shadow brush), 129 (dense blush brush)
  • Substitutes: Lovely Lily = Kitschmas (close); Up-do = Sushi Flower; Team Violet = Fig. 1//Sketch; Rave = Prunella; Blooming = Well Dressed; Negligee = Cultured

Directions: Define brows using a coordinating powder shadow applied with the 266 brush. Apply Lovely Lily pigment all over the lid as the base with the 249. On the inner lid, apply Up-do eyeshadow using the 239. Apply Team Violets (lighter side) to the middle of the lid. Darken the outer lid using Team Violets (darker side) and drag into crease using the 239. Sweep Hush eyeshadowunderneath the brow bone to highlight. Finish with Rave pearlglide liner on outer lower lash line and UD Lust Eye Liner on inner lower lash line, and Chanel Exceptionnel mascara on lashes. Sweep apples of cheeks with Blooming blush using the 129. Apply YSL Lingerie Pink lipstick to lips, and then top with Negligee lipglass for color and shine.

I think I’d probably make it less pink or throw in contrasting color in the crease or inner lid (maybe a darker color like Cranberry in the crease or Goldmine on the inner lid). I wore Maidenchant blushcreme (LE) on cheeks with Don’t Be Shy blush (LE). I had Strawberry Blonde lipstick (LE) with Cult Fave lipglass (LE) on my lips.

** These are recommendations for dupes based on permanent colors available — may not necessarily be identical; they are the closest I can think of!

Maidenchant = Posey; Don’t Be Shy = Well Dressed; Strawberry Blonde = Skew; Cult Fave = Cultured

Could have used some more blending at the top, but at least the lips rocked! And the colors were bright :)

I used Pink Pearl pigment on lid (PRO), Stars ‘n Rockets eyeshadow on lid, Parfait Amour eyeshadow in crease, Contrast eyeshadow above crease, Thunder eyeshadow above Contrast (LE), Nylon eyeshadow on brow, Royal Wink fluidliner on upper lash line, Lovely Lily pigment on lower lash line (LE), Graphblack technakohl on lower waterline, and Plushblack plushlash mascara on lashes. I wore Don’t Be Shy blush (LE) on cheeks. I had Show Orchid (PRO) lipstick with Cult Fave lipglass (LE) on my lips.
