The Summer Season: MAC Chatterbox Lipstick
MAC Chatterbox Lipstick
($14.00 for 0.10 oz.) is an opaque, pretty-in-pink lipstick. It’s a smidgen on the cooler side, but it’s a rather neutral pink overall. It has a creamy feel while still clinging to lips–the slight creaminess keeps it from being drying. One of the best things about Chatterbox is it’s a standout pink, but it’s not bright, neon, or overwhelming in any way. It’s great with a lighter smoky eye, or you can slick on a sheer nude gloss to mute the color a bit more, too, and pair it with a smoldering eye!

The Summer Season: MAC See Sheer Lipstick
MAC See Sheer Lipstick ($14.00 for 0.10 oz.) is a slightly muted coral-orange with a glossy sheen. It has a creamier look to it, as there is no noticeable shimmer in it. It delivers nearly full-color coverage–you can just lightly see the freckle on my lower lip. It wears very well and feels incredibly comfortable on–soft, moisturizing, clinging enough to wear for three to four hours, but not tight or drying. It’s a fun way to wear coral without going full-on coral.

The Summer Season: MAC Crosswires Lipstick
MAC Crosswires Lipstick ($14.00 for 0.10 oz.) is a lovely shade of coral-pink–it’s not super bright like Vegas Volt, but it’s not so muted that it ends up looking washed out. It’s easily one of my favorite corals amongst MAC’s permanent line, too. The cremesheen formula gives Crosswires a soft glistening sheen while still giving a good deal of color coverage on lips. It’s about as opaque as a lipstick can get on my lips! It even has this almost-there golden sheen. It’s very, very subtle, but it’s most noticeable in the sunlight.

The Summer Season: MAC Full Fuchsia Lipstick
MAC Full Fuchsia Lipstick ($14.00 for 0.10 oz.) is a bright fuchsia pink with full-color coverage and a slight sheen. It has an amplified creme finish, so it’s creamy but not overly so. It does have a frostier finish than the majority of amplified cremes, though. I love how opaque it is, and I find it a barely-there cool-toned hot pink, so it’s wearable for both cool and warm skin tones. This is a PRO shade that’s occasionally available through trend picks on the consumer website, but anyone can visit or call their nearest PRO store to purchase (no membership required!).

The Summer Season: MAC Speed Dial Lipstick
MAC Speed Dial Lipstick
($14.00 for 0.10 oz.) is a slightly blue-based pink with a golden sheen. It’s an interesting shade, because it has that yellowness to it, that golden shimmer and sheen, but the pink still feels blue-based. I think it’s wearble on both cool and warm skin tones, though, and I love how it’s pink with a gold sheen. Speed Dial has a cremesheen finish, so it’s not one of MAC’s most moisturizing formulas, but I don’t find it drying myself. I like the color pay off of Speed Dial as well–not entirely opaque but nearly so.

The Summer Season: MAC Morange Lipstick
MAC Morange Lipstick
($14.00) is an amped up, vibrant shade of glistening orange. This is not for the color-shy, because it is head-to-toe rich and creamy and opaque. MAC describes it as “loudmouth orange,” and it is exactly that. It’s so, so full of color. It’s an amplified cream finish, and it’s easy to wear with smooth, intense color.
