More MAC eyeshadow swatches for the Swatch Gallery! 🙂 I’m working my way through my “permanent” palettes (which are organized by color and house mostly permanent shades, but there are a few discontinued/limited edition shades in them) for now. I don’t own all of MAC’s permanent eyeshadows, so some shades may be missing that fall into one of the color categories.
Available online only for U.S./Canada on June 21st, here are photos and swatches of the four eyeshadows included in the collection. Each will retail for $14.50 and be available for a limited time. For official information, please check out the launch post. Please understand that I am not going to rate or review this collection, because of my involvement, as I do not think it would be right. I will provide comparison swatches for Jealousy Wakes very soon!
These are swatches only! 🙂 I am in the process of re-swatching a ton of products, because the Swatch Gallery is designed so you can compare individual products, so all of the swatches have to be done in a way that each swatch can be photographed and shown individually. I’m going through various brands, so there is some variety as I journey through it all, but here are fourteen MAC eyeshadow swatches, along with my descriptions of the shades and any notes on performance if it was below average. Unless noted otherwise, shades are part of the permanent range.
MAC Surf Baby Eyeshadows ($15.50 for 0.05 oz.) come in five shades: Saffron (deep coral caramel), Short Shorts (frosty white champagne), Sun Blonde (dirty yellow gold), Surf USA (frosted teal), and Swell Baby (mid-tone grey).
The collection features six shades of Eyeshadows (each $14.50 for 0.05 oz.) — three are limited edition, while three are available in the permanent range; though, all of the editions in this launch are imprinted with the flower design, while permanent editions will be normal. The six shades include: Aqua (aqua blue), Bows & Curtseys (metallic hunter green), Free to Be (bright true coral), Fresh Daisy (frosty white yellow), Groundcover (mid-tone warm grey), and Lucky Green (frosted mid-tone lime).
